Reviews of Surfeel Hotel Wakkanai

New hotel with nice view on the bay. Cloe to jr and bus station and ferry. Room is spacious. Pillow is too soft but we could ask for a harder one. 1100 yen is charge for 1 hrs late check out.

The only luxury hotel in Wakkanai and we had a pleasant stay in there to walk around the beach side. It’s a windy city so bring a jacket with you. Breakfast is delicious and less crowd during off peak season.

The hotel environment is fantastic, definitely choose a sea-view room, facing the ocean... It's very convenient for getting around, within walking distance to the JR station and Ferry terminal. The service is attentive. For dinner, make sure to order the Hokkaido specialties: Botan shrimp and Soya black wagyu beef – they are absolutely delicious!

The breakfast was good, with a seafood rice bowl, but the facilities are outdated. The toilet and bathtub feel like they're from the last century. Also, the soundproofing in the room isn't great; staying in room 804, I heard incredibly loud snoring from next door before bed, which was extremely annoying.

The hotel is very close to the station, just a four-minute walk away. The front desk staff kindly gave us a room on a higher floor. The hygiene was good, very clean, and the room was quite spacious with a great view. Breakfast was a bit average, it was a semi-buffet.

One of the best hotels in the most northern  part of Japan . Don’t have to worry about each meals.  and the scenery from Harborview room is good.

Thank you for the hospitality. We had a great stay at this hotel during the golden week. The cleaning in the room is perfect, and I can see that the cleaning staffs are really putting their effort serving the guest here. Besides, the breakfast in the hotel is amazing. The staff serving in the breakfast are so kind and friendly. There was a Malaysian female staff, she was very helpful and efficient as she delivered the bath towel to us immediately after I called. Thanks again and we will definitely stay here again if we come to Wakkanai in the future.

A hotel is located not very far from the ferry and location itself is very quiet, if you would like to travel to other island this is very convenient for you. However Surfeel does not have any convenient shop for you to walk by (if you don’t have a car). The internet is quite slow and sometimes would disconnect itself, other than that it’s a very lovely hotel with great breakfast.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. The room was very spacious and offered a stunning view of the Breakwater Dome and the sea, which were absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is great but only 1 thing about the humidity level in the room. Appreciate if humidifiers to be provided in the room. Breakfast is awesome and view is super. Location is jz outside of JR STATION.
