The Lodge was in a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Wanaka. The room was very spacious with great spa bath and good shower. The Japanese style toilet was good. The bed was very comfortable. Our hosts Barry and Trish were very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was delicious with home grown produce used. Short drive to the town centre.

We stayed at the Tin Tub Lodge for two nights. The accommodations were great with a spacious, comfortable room. The hosts were wonderful; Barry had many suggestions for things to do and see and places to eat dinner. Breakfast was terrific, with hot, fresh cooked items and a good selection of cold items, including homemade breads and jams. The location is a short drive from the town centre or a nice downhill walk to the town centre for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Me and my wife spent two nights in this beautiful Lodge in March 2024 ( photos see webside of the lodge). Everything in the generous accommodation is well designed, outside Spa with stunning view on Lake Wanaka is really relaxing. Lodge owner Barry gave us usefull hints and information about must visit places and restaurants. He as well prepared breakfast for the guests following individuell wishes, while his wife contibuted her homemade marmelades, selfmade bread and fruits from the garden. We loved this place and service and can warmly recommend it.

Bas and Jenny are very friendly and helpful. Bas gives a lot of advice on activities and restaurants in the local area. We appreciated his sense of humour The rooms are large, well equipped and of a high quality. The outdoor tubs are great for relaxing and stargazing. Jenny’s granola at breakfast is perfect and much of the breakfast produce is home made. Thank you for helping us enjoy our 4 days in Wanaka 😊

This place is incredible. Our room was spectacular. Barry and Trish were wonderful hosts. Barry helped us get situated, made transportation arrangements for us our first night, and closed our windows when the rain started while we were gone. Breakfast was wonderful, thanks to Trish. The property is beautiful. Do yourself a favor and stay a few nights here.

We had a really lovely stay here. Bad welcomed us when we arrived and showed us our lodge which was beautiful. We had a great view over the lake, our own terrace and two slipper baths outside which were fun. The indoor bathroom was also fab with a jacuzzi bath filled by a tap from the ceiling, a big shower and double sinks. The food was excellent all prepared by Chris. Homemade cookies, jams, kefir, granola, honey from a neighbour, it was lovely. We would recommend a stay here, you won’t regret it.

We had a great stay at Tin Tub Luxury Lodge and we would highly recommend it to everyone. We stayed 4 nights and we had an amazing time! If you are looking for a luxury, calm and lovely accommodation, a stunning view at the mountains and the lake, stargazing at a cozy tin tub, new zealands best breakfast and two lovely hosts - there you go!

A Luxury Lodge with 3 spaciously designed rooms with separate bathroom. Cathedral height ceilings and one wall of windows overlooking Lake Wanaka plus a coupe more suites. Plenty of parking and lots of facilities make this a great place to stay - even has two bathtubs outside so that you can soak and contemplate the stars! The hosts are very interesting people and the breakfasts are just the way you want it - whatever that is. One of the highlight locations we stayed at during our tour.

Great service from the owner who was very welcoming and attentive to al our needs. Very large comfortable ground floor room with large with chairs and a table open to the garden. The room and patio had a superb view as the Lodge is situated on the top of a ridge. Excellent breakfasts with a good choice of cooked courses and excellent coffee!
