We stayed in a new little cabin. It was really great. Nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. Also a deck but the wind was too bad to enjoy that. The shared facilities appeared to be clean and perfectly serviceable. The staff were also very helpful. Thanks Brooke.

Stayed 1 night on way through area, wpuld not hesitate to make it a destination, great location, friendly staff. BBQ area and pool a bonus , showers better than others. Clean and tidy. Despite being parked by entrance due to last minute booking, no noise issues.

We have stayed several times this year in our caravan on a powered site. The campgrounds are immaculate, good facilities in kitchen and bathroom areas. Staff are very friendly and more than willing to assist when needed. Good proximity to beach, playground, local restaurants and art studios.

Xmas time. Passing through, arrived late (after hours). Easy check in. Beautiful spot right next to the beach & skate park. Perfect for my little man to scooter. Especially loved the kitchen & dining area. Had everything you need & the smell of a fresh Xmas pine tree in the corner was a lovely touch. Thanks you. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay with Wanganui seaside holiday park our place was very tidy and everything provided for loved how spacious the park and pool area was would highly recommend for families to enjoy accommodation here . Even though we arrived after hours they had the key , map and even some milk cartons ready for us for pickup in the reception letterbox

Our little cabin was all we needed, was a great place to just relax and was up the road from where our family live so very convenient. The water pressure in the shower was stronger than mine is at home in Aussie so that's saying something. The bed was a very small double but, really all we needed to rest. We had so much luggage so was a bit cramped but we made it work.

Beautiful campsite for us in a motorhome and right next to the beach. The facilities are amazing - very cosy lounge, fully equipped kitchen and lovely hot showers. We had a bit of nightmare as we lost our van keys after arriving and I have to say, the manager lady was outstanding in helping us look, rang a locksmith and checked on us regularly to see how things were progressing with getting replacement keys. She (apologies I don’t know her name) works hard all day around the site and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you for making our ‘nightmare’ so much easier. Highly recommend this site indeed x

Can't go past the. seaside vibe Add to this the comfortable cabins, and the helpful hosts - it adds up to a good time. The place has character and there was nostalgia thrown in too. My fav was the swimming pool. You can get a decent coffee across the road too.
