This park was great! We stayed for almost a year in our bus while saving for our house deposit, the amenities were outstanding the whole time and the staff I can't speak of highly enough, we'll definitely come again, thanks team

Our cabin with bathroom including a good shower, double bed, TV, wifi, fridge, heater, microwave and tea & coffees making facilities. The black sand beach is at the end of the street and is an ideal spot to enjoy the sunset and on a clear day views of Mt Taranaki. A large play area is also a short walk.

We were warm and comfortable. The sauna and plunge pool were a total bonus. A large number of us had gathered for an event at the wonderful Duncan Pavilion at the beach and really enjoyed debriefing around the awesome firepit long into the night.

We absolutely love this seaside camp ground. We have stayed many times with our caravan, facilities are fabulous, clean and tidy. Powered site rates are good value. The staff are amazing, so friendly more than happy to help. A great location to the beach with a dairy, cafe/restaurant and art gallery close by.

A tidy campsite, well run, friendly staff and clean, well-supplied facilities. Location: short walk to the beach, dairy across the road and a local restaurant. Not so good was the proximity to a fairly busy road - traffic noise, especially from the 'boy-racer/loud exhaust' brigade detracted from the experience. Campsites are flat, grass and well maintained. Overall a pleasant place for a beach break.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Whanganui Seaside Holiday Park recently. Easy access for large caravan, lovely hosts, clean facilities, a large entertainment area with an open fire and fully equipped kitchen. Super quiet and close to the beach. 10/10.

Friendly family run vibe with beautifully maintained facilities and some quirky personal touches, which added to the welcome. Good location for beach walks with nearby restaurant - perfect combination!

Great experience as always. Love the facilities, cabin is always clean and comfortable. We had a request to check in a bit earlier than originally expected and they accommodated us without a problem. Will definitely go back again.

Really enjoyed our stay in the cozy Tackle Box. It's just big enough for a queen bed, bedside tables, and a storage unit of shelves, drawers and a cabinet. The unit held a kettle, plunger, cups and saucers, tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, a tetra pack of milk, toaster, plates, bowls, cutlery, tea towel, cloth, and a fan. And there was still room to store some of our things. The comfortable bed had crisp new sheets. There were two towels, two wash cloths, and two bars of soap. The camp lounge and kitchen were nearby as were the toilets and showers. There were a few shops nearby and the beach is a short walk away. All in all a very comfortable stay!

Spent 3 nights here across the vintage weekend and really enjoyed it with access to the beach where there was an Airshow. Facilities good and clean. Site felt relaxed
