Our travel plans changed last minute, so we booked a night at Le Méridien on a whim. My kids and I loved it, we even felt a little sad to check out! The service, from the front desk to the butler, was impeccable. If we ever come back to Wanning, we'd definitely choose Le Méridien again without hesitation.

We were unlucky with the rain during our stay in Wanning, but thankfully the hotel upgraded us to a splash room and even offered complimentary laundry service. The bed was super king-sized! The breakfast had a great variety. Our butler, Lexie, was incredibly thoughtful and helped us arrange a late check-out since we had a baby who needed a nap. Everything was perfect, except for the weather! We'll definitely come back when the little one is older.

Shimei Bay is fantastic, the sand is so fine, and the waves come in sets – I truly felt like I was experiencing 'white waves chasing the beach' in real life. The Le Méridien experience was also excellent; even the basic rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Having a butler like Nikki made the stay even more pleasant.

Kim reached out to us even before check-in and proactively upgraded our room after seeing we had a child. She sent us tons of recommendations for local food and attractions, and was always responsive to our questions, offering helpful answers for everything. She even upgraded our breakfast for one morning and sent us a cake and fruit. The overall service at the hotel was excellent too; the staff were enthusiastic, and they even asked if we were satisfied after our room was cleaned.

Facilities: The facilities are decent, with two pools, but the open-plan lobby compromises the hotel's privacy. On the other hand, rooms are difficult to locate, and there are no sea-view rooms at all, which is a bit odd. There are many good parent-child activities. Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Shimei Bay, excellent. Service: There's a butler service that helped upgrade our room type, which was great. However, the snorkeling shop the hotel partners with was just so-so; it's best to do your research before participating in such activities. If you're bringing children, be sure to manage their playtime and use physical sun protection! Overall, the experience wasn't as good as the Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula, but the service was excellent. They gave my friend many gifts and actively helped resolve any issues we encountered.

Great location and excellent service. The only downsides were that the hotel is a bit old, and the power outlets were few and inconveniently placed. Also, there was no storage space in the pool changing room. On a positive note, they upgraded me to the Horizon Restaurant, and the views were absolutely stunning!

This is an older resort, and while the decor shows its age, the room hygiene was excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high quality. Breakfast served until 11 am is a huge plus for late risers, with a rich selection of local snacks and fruits. My Trip.com booking came with many value-added services, which were comprehensive and met all our travel needs. Overall, it's an ideal place to unwind and fully immerse yourself in island life – gazing at the sea, taking walks, and enjoying the sunset. The vacation vibes are truly immersive. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway in Wanning, it's definitely worth a try.

This hotel has a more intimate feel, and the beach is very clean. Even though it wasn't peak season, there weren't many rooms left when we arrived late. Luckily, our room was close to the beach, which was very convenient. The hotel staff proactively added us on WeChat beforehand. Lexie was very prompt in her replies, whether it was about activities, food delivery, or checking out – everything could be handled via WeChat.

The hotel's location is excellent, with direct access from the lobby to a private beach, and the views are undeniably stunning, offering a first-row sea view of Shimei Bay. The rooms are well-equipped, and the hotel offers a rich variety of activities, including a complimentary travel photography session, all of which are very convenient services.

Had a great stay at Le Méridien Shimei Bay for a few days. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and all the employees were friendly and approachable. The room was comfortable, the ocean view from the lobby was absolutely stunning, and the beach environment was pleasant. Overall, it was a very relaxing vacation.

An excellent five-star hotel experience! The breakfast was rich and varied, allowing us to sleep in naturally. Our butler, Luna, was incredibly helpful, promptly arranging anything we needed for our room. In the evening, when we opened champagne 🍾, she even brought us ice. The hotel's infinity pool faces the sea, and there are several warm pools nearby perfect for a relaxing soak. A truly satisfying holiday experience.

I personally think it's great value for money. The hotel even gave us a free upgrade to a sea-view room. Environment: Excellent. The beach has fine sand, the sea water is clear, and there are many activities. Service: Excellent. Hygiene: Excellent. The surrounding area is nice, not crowded, and convenient for visiting other attractions. You can rent tricycles right outside, which is very handy.

The Amoy Hotel is beautiful, and there are plenty of activities. Our butler, Kim, provided excellent one-on-one service, even upgrading us to a seaside breakfast. It brought a ray of warm sunshine to our trip during typhoon season.
