A beautiful hotel with a fantastic location. The service, staff and breakfast were perfect. We had booked a room with a terrace. Unfortunately, the terrace is a shared terrace, so all guests sit in front of the window.

Lovely characterful hotel with excellent staff. Nice restaurant providing evening meals, and good breakfasts. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.

Mortons Manor is well-located in the centre of Corfe Castle with the Castle just a short walk away. The hotel is very quiet and very relaxing. Furnishing reflect the style of the building itself - the comfort of yesteryear rather than something more modern and functional. There's plenty of parking. Accessibility for one of our group who uses a wheelchair was first rate. The room was good, the bed comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. Equally good was the food - for breakfast and for dinner. The staff were excellent - welcoming, friendly and efficient. Overall our stay was relaxing, problem-free and pretty good value for money.

Stayed here for two nights, with a meal with them on the first evening and breakfast each morning. From the warm and friendly welcome to our farewells everything was top class. We were in the Loft Suite, not great for tall folks but ideal for us. Super clean throughout with top class bedding and very comfortable bed. Food in the evening was great, good quality produce and beautifully presented. My only 'what could they do better' would be to offer table bookings earlier, the earliest is 7pm and by the time you've ordered and food is ready for people like us, it's all a bit late to be eating, especially so these days and our awareness of eating early is better for us. So too breakfast, earliest you can eat is 8am and if you're wanting to be out for the day it's a little late. What shone out for me here was the attention to detail and the exceptional level of customer service from each and every member of the team - well done - we hope to return very soon.

Lovely room, lovely staff and a lovely old Manor House. Four stars because we didn’t enjoy the evening meal as much as we expected. The pork was dry and overcooked and the chocolate pudding not that nice. Maybe it was the chef’s day off. Breakfast was good though with nice bread! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Mortons Manor for just 2 nights but had a fabulous stay. This is an amazing Tudor building with so much interest and history in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area (it is right next to the castle ruins, within walking distance of the steam railway, a few yards from the bus stop for the Poole to Swanage bus and surrounded by fabulous walking trails). It was pouring with rain we arrived but we had a lovely afternoon sat in front of the roaring fire in the wonderful sitting room, sipping local beer and playing board games provided by the hotel. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food and service was excellent. Breakfast is also excellent...everything you could want. Our room combined everything you could need from a comfort perspective with Tudor charm (four poster bed, huge fireplace, old leaded windows etc). All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and hugely attentive. We will definitely be returning. Mortons Manor offers a touch of comfortable luxury without breaking the bank.

We booked a one-night Twixtmas mini break and it was a real treat to return to this beautiful, historic and welcoming hotel. Our room (No. 1) was wonderful — incredibly spacious, with a supremely comfortable four-poster bed and a generous, modern bathroom featuring a fantastic jacuzzi bath. Pre-dinner drinks in the oak-panelled drawing room were a delight; sitting by the roaring log fire was the perfect prelude to dinner. The meal itself was delicious — beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and clearly well thought out. The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the village, with Corfe Castle overlooking it and well worth a visit. There are also plenty of lovely pubs nearby. A truly relaxing stay for us, and somewhere we will definitely return to.

Yet another amazing experience at Morton Manor, food and service are always first class, absolutely 5 star. Ronnie, Kizzy, Izzy and Sarah were all amazing. 2 chaps also series us as well, apologies can’t remember their name but they were excellent as well. The chefs should also be commended. Ronnie also knows her wines, very knowledgeable. Just a lovely experience as always

Beautiful relaxed atmosphere in this well located hotel. We spent one night here and enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast and dinner were very good. We had a problem in the night with a very hot radiator, which we couldn't turn off. We had to call an emergency contact number for the hotel as staff had all gone home. The radiator could not be fixed so we were given the key to sleep in another room.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We know Corfe well but had never before been to Mortons Manor but having experienced the great food and hospitality we will definitely return. We had a castle view room which was small but very comfortable. Great linen and comfy pillows. An en suite with a modern efficient shower and fluffy towels. We booked a table in the restaurant for Saturday evening. It was really nice to have a pre diner drink in the panelled sitting room with a roaring fire. Our order was taken there and we went to our table when the food was almost ready to be served. Food was excellent and the restaurant deserves its 2 rosettes award. We ate there the second night too but this time choosing from the bar menu and this was also good. All the staff we encountered were friendly, efficient and very well trained in customer service. Thank you.

This was a last minute treat for ourselves, as a get away to be near the sea and countryside. My partner had booked it as a little surprise get away. We have visited Corfe a few years back and love the area. On arriving at the hotel and being able to book into our room slightly earlier, we felt very welcomed. We had a terraced room which was clean and very comfortable with shower en-suite. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The decor and ambience within the hotel we felt was beautifully suited to the period of the building. Everyone single member of staff were very friendly and welcoming, from front of house to housekeeping. We regret not eating in the restaurant in the evening, as felt we would like to explore one of the local pubs (The Greyhound). Very very disappointed by the service and food there! However on our return back to the hotel we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us very welcome with a drink in the cosy lounge. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again soon 😍

We have just returned from a two night break at Mortons Manor. We received a really warm welcome and were shown to our room that was beautifully decorated in keeping with the age of the hotel. The en-suite bathroom was clean and modern. We ate in on both evenings and the meals were delicious with the wine list giving plenty of choice and a good range of prices. The sitting room was comfortable and the fire was lit each evening giving a really cozy feel. The front of house staff were all superb and compliments to all the kitchen staff for producing scrumptious meals. A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to everyone - it takes a team to run a little gem like this.

Staff very accommodating, kind and helpful. First rate hotel, perfect location for exploring local area or relaxing, superb breakfasts and evening meal. A wonderful place to stay for a long weekend that is "a little bit special" and we would not hesitate in returning here or recommending hotel to others.
