Very disappointing stay – does not meet Hilton standards
We travel to Warsaw at least twice a year and usually stay at Airport Hotel Okęcie, where we are always very satisfied. This time, as it was fully booked, we decided to try Hampton by Hilton due to its proximity to the airport and the offered shuttle service. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
– The reception staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was no greeting or effort to make guests feel comfortable, which created a very cold first impression.
– The room was very small, with an unpleasant smell. The chair was broken and stained, the beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were tiny — not suitable for adults. The overall condition of the room felt outdated and poorly maintained.
– Dinner at the restaurant was shockingly overpriced for the quality. We paid almost €50 for a Caesar salad with five shrimp and a burger. The food was bland and of poor quality, far below what one would expect from a Hilton brand.
– Breakfast was even worse: extremely limited choice and very poor quality. The scrambled eggs had a strong fishy taste, making them inedible. We only managed to have some yogurt before leaving.
We have stayed in many hotels across Europe, but this was, sadly, the worst experience so far. The standards here do not reflect Hilton’s reputation. We would not choose this hotel again, even for free.
