Beyond the passable breakfast, there's little to recommend about this hotel. The facilities are noticeably outdated, and the suites are merely average, completely inconsistent with its 5-star rating. The real disappointment lies with the service. From the moment I checked in, there was a complete lack of service awareness. Arriving on an early morning flight, I was made to wait until 2:30 PM to check in, a full five-hour wait. During this time, the front desk staff offered no proactive help, explanation, or solutions, let alone any genuine care. Even more unacceptable was the front desk staff explicitly stating, right to my face, that even with a suite booking, I 'was not entitled to any special treatment.' Their tone was harsh and robotic, as if reciting regulations rather than providing service to a guest. Throughout the entire process, there wasn't a single empathetic word, let alone the professionalism and hospitality expected of a five-star hotel. A five-star hotel competes not just on its hardware, but more importantly, on its service. And this hotel utterly fails in the most crucial aspect. Based on my experiences staying at numerous five-star hotels in the United States, this is, without a doubt, the worst service experience I've ever had. I will neither stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, exactly as pictured. Amenities included Balmain toiletries, a kettle, bottled water, and slippers. The location was excellent; the White House was right outside, and there were plenty of great dining options nearby.

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to the Lincoln Memorial, the White House, Capitol Hill, and all the museums. The room was a bit small but perfectly adequate. The breakfast on the first floor was quite good; it's à la carte with a limited selection, but the taste was great, and the black coffee was also very nice.

Excellent hotel with a super convenient location. The White House and Washington Monument are all within walking distance, and it's very close to the metro station. Although the facilities are a bit old, it's definitely not dirty and the environment is very good 👍. Highly recommended.

Very happy with my choice! The price was good and the experience was great. I recommend booking with breakfast. The hotel's location is also excellent. My impression of Washington D.C. on this East Coast trip was very positive; it's clean and well-organized. The hotel perfectly suited our needs: not expensive, comfortable, convenient, and also quite beautiful.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my nearly 20-day trip in the US, in terms of service. They provided bottled water daily, as well as amenities like cotton swabs, shower caps, and nail files (slippers and toothbrushes weren't provided in the room, but you could try asking the front desk). The room was spacious and comfortable. It's also very close to the White House and conveniently located for visiting major attractions and museums nearby.

This is the only hotel I've found on both the West and East Coasts that offers unlimited bottled water and has central air conditioning. It's conveniently located near GNC, a '舅' (this word seems to be a typo or a very specific local reference, so I'm keeping it as is, or you might want to ask for clarification if possible), and there are many convenient options for breakfast and other meals.

The hotel is fantastic, recently renovated with exquisite attention to detail; everything was just right. The breakfast was superb, very delicious and made to order with a great variety. The hotel's cleaning and hygiene, as well as the service, were all impeccable.

The hotel is right near the White House. It's a decent hotel, and being so close to the White House, there are a lot of police around, so it feels quite safe. Breakfast was fully booked, so I didn't get a chance to try it and can't comment on it.
