The room was pretty good, and quite spacious. I stayed here for two nights, and it was super convenient for visiting nearby attractions like the White House and the Capitol building – all within walking distance!

Toilet seat was too close to water. I had to hover or get my manhood wet. Staff was friendly and location was good. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Tub and shower was a plus. Big screen TV and radio was better than expected. Near White House so location is a big plus.

Great stay w Sofitel. Location was convenient to get around and room was big. They also offer coffee and tea in the morning which I greatlt appreciate.

The room was spacious, the service was excellent, and breakfast was à la carte – you could order whatever you wanted, and the taste was so good I couldn't be picky, since I have a Chinese palate. Overall, a positive review!

There was practically no service. No one opened the door, helped with luggage, or even greeted me when I arrived. After registering at the front desk, I was completely on my own. The toilet flush button wouldn't pop back up, so the water kept running. The room was noisy and affected my sleep. Fortunately, the location was good, very close to the White House and the Washington Monument. There weren't many other advantages, but the price was reasonable, so I guess it was alright.

Less than a ten-minute walk from the White House and the capital's central axis, the hotel enjoys a prime location, fronting a tree-lined boulevard and offering a beautiful setting. Besides the main attractions, the surrounding area also offers a wide range of dining options. The hotel is small, and the room amenities aren't perfect, but they retain a touch of French elegance. The restaurant downstairs serves good food and is reasonably priced. Of course, staying in the heart of DC, don't expect a bargain. In addition to the Ctrip room fee, this hotel also charges a $34.79 "Urban Experience Fee and Tax" per day. Even so, the rate is only average for the area. The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, but Valet Parking charges $65 per day plus tip, which is average for the area. The problem is that the parking is quite far away, and the wait to retrieve the car can take over 20 minutes.
