Reviews of Hyatt Place DC/White House

I stayed here for three nights, and calling an Uber from the hotel to different attractions wasn't too expensive. I recommend booking tickets for the Washington Monument in advance to get a good view of the city's layout. Also, you can visit the Supreme Court.

Excellent location, clean, and great service.

The room was clean but there were no complimentary bottles of water. And housekeepers cleaned my room everyday, which made my stay comfortable. Breakfast was available for an additional $11 per meal. The variety was limited, and the items were mostly the same each day. It is located near the White House. So I was able to go sightseeing easily during my free time. Unfortunately, there were some system issues when I checked out. However, I was able to check out easily by simply leaving the room keys at the front desk.

The location of the hotel is more than perfect

Overall clean and quiet, good location for both business and leisure purpose. The front desk staff is courteous and helpful. The daily breakfast is ok, though nothing to shout about. There is a small coffeemaker in the room which can also function as a small kettle. WiFi is free and speed is ok.

The decoration and equipment are very old, and there is one less bedside lamp, which is very inconvenient at night. The bathroom is poor. The hotel charged duplicate room fees. After several negotiations, it has been confirmed that it is a duplicate charge. They said they agreed to refund but it will take 20 days to a month. I don't know why?
