Coda on Half, a Placemakr Experience - Navy Yard

Seriously, if you're coming to Washington D.C., you HAVE to stay here! Not a single fault from start to finish, my experience was absolutely perfect and I'd give it full marks! Coda on Half is an apartment-style accommodation under the Placemakr brand, and the design is incredibly thoughtful. Floors 1-5 are for hotel short-term rentals, and floors 6 and above are for long-term apartments, creating a really comfortable living atmosphere – no chaos or noise. The room itself is super spacious, with a minimalist modern decor, and all the facilities are brand new and complete. The lobby isn't huge but it's exquisitely chic, and the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. The service experience was excellent! On Sunday, check-out day, there was a lovely bonus: free beer, cookies, and orange juice available for guests. It really added to the positive feeling of leaving. The location is absolutely amazing! It's less than a block's walk to the subway station, making public transport a breeze and getting anywhere super convenient. Plus, there's a unique morning market downstairs on Sundays, full of local charm. What really sealed the deal for me was the full kitchen in the room! You can buy your own groceries and cook, perfectly suiting your own taste. Being able to cook for yourself when traveling is just wonderful. There wasn't a single negative point during my entire stay. The facilities, service, location, and convenience were all top-notch. Next time I'm in D.C., I'll definitely choose this place again. I wholeheartedly recommend it without hesitation!

The room was massive, spotless, and incredibly well-equipped, including a full kitchen and a washer-dryer, which made our stay super convenient. Service was quick and attentive. The location is decent, close to the beach, pier, and a park, with all the essential amenities nearby, and it's also very close to the subway station. The only downside is the parking fee, which is a steep $65 per night. It's a great choice for an extended stay or if you prefer a more home-like experience.

Although the hotel is located a 20-minute straight-line walk from the U.S. Capitol, it was a quiet and cozy place that felt like home. It offers significantly better value for money than downtown hotels, so I highly recommend it to visitors to Washington.

The accommodation was very close to the subway station, and the surroundings were clean and quiet. When I first arrived, I was impressed by the spaciousness and convenient amenities. It didn't get stuffy, and the linens were comfortable. I highly recommend it.
