"The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the South Gate of Dali Ancient City. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making both transportation and dining very convenient. The hotel has an antique charm and even offers free traditional ethnic costumes for guests to take photos in. I stayed for several days and they also provided pick-up service. The room was clean and hygienic, and the shower had great water pressure. The TV came with a membership, so I could watch various shows and videos directly. Xiao Wei's service was very attentive. The only minor drawback was the lack of a full-length mirror in the room."

"The room was impeccably clean. Every morning, the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of Cangshan Mountain. The guesthouse owner was incredibly hospitable and provided exceptionally attentive service. Its location is fantastic, very close to the South Gate of the Ancient City, with a lively night market right outside your doorstep in the evenings. There's also a car rental shop conveniently located right next to the guesthouse."

"A very comfortable 5-day, 4-night stay! The hotel is beautiful, right by Erhai Lake. The interior design and even the music played made me feel like the owner has excellent taste, haha. Every morning I watched the sunrise, and in the evenings, I enjoyed the sunset from the balcony. The breakfast was plentiful, and in the evenings, sweet soup was delivered to my room. The staff were all very warm and professional. When they heard I had an early flight, they specially prepared a breakfast for me to take on the road and arranged a car to take me to the airport. A huge thank you! 🫶🏻 The dishes at the hotel restaurant were all delicious. My favorite was the Yunnan-style stir-fried beef with chili and sour flavors – super tasty!!! I also smelled the sour and spicy fish ordered by the table next to me, which seemed really good too, but I couldn't finish it alone 😖 Occasionally, there was a bit of noise during the daytime in the afternoon, as there were tourists passing by downstairs. However, it wasn't an issue as long as I was at the cafe or out exploring. It was very quiet at night, and I slept wonderfully. I'll definitely be back!!"

"The location is great, very close to the ancient town, and it's super convenient for visiting the March Street fair. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The hydrangeas in the garden were in full bloom, and I was absolutely stunned by how vibrant they looked as soon as I walked through the gate. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, assisting us with our luggage upstairs. Everyone we met had a smile on their face, which created a wonderful atmosphere."

"This trip to Dali was absolutely made perfect by this beachfront hotel! From the moment we stepped out of the car, every single staff member was incredibly welcoming. They proactively helped with our luggage, introduced the hotel's amenities, and even the cleaning staff greeted us with a smile. It immediately felt like coming home. The room's view was absolutely stunning! Opening the window revealed the sparkling waters of Erhai Lake, and the sunrise and sunset views were so beautiful they left me speechless. Sitting on the balcony's lounge chair, feeling the breeze and gazing at the sea, all my fatigue just melted away. Breakfast was a delightful surprise. Fresh rice noodles, freshly made porridge, and freshly ground coffee – every bite tasted like Dali. Sitting in the sea-view restaurant, eating and looking out at the sea, time seemed to slow down."

Driver can also drop us off or pick us up right at the front of the hotel lobby (inform driver that carpark entry is free for first 15 minutes, as otherwise they may drop or wait at the carpark gantry, which is just a very short walk away).
