"I think this hotel offers great value for money. 1. I checked in on a weekend, and there were many locals with kids, so I had to wait a short while, but it wasn't too long. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave me a room as far from the road as possible, as I requested. It was definitely one of the quietest spots in the whole hotel. 2. The room was small but well-appointed; it had everything except a washing machine. 3. The shower water pressure was good. 4. The bathroom wasn't large but was quite clean. 5. The bed was quite big, probably two 1.1m beds pushed together. Lying in bed by the window at night with the lights off, watching the night view and listening to music was very therapeutic. 6. This time I got a room on the shaded side. Next time I'll try one on the sunny side, but the sunny side might not be as quiet or cool as the shaded side. 7. The cleaning boy was very polite. 8. The water play area downstairs isn't very big, especially after coming from Centara... However, the 299 package by the pool was great – the fried chicken, fries, and iced drinks were all good and offered excellent value. 9. The hotel is inexpensive, highly recommended if you're not planning to spend all your time at the hotel."

"I've been to Pattaya dozens of times, and for the past few years, I've consistently stayed at this hotel. I stayed for a week each in January and July last year, and again for a week this time. I booked a room without breakfast, but at check-in, I was upgraded to a higher floor for around 850 baht a day, not including breakfast. The hotel service is excellent; the bellhops always greet you and offer assistance, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The hotel is connected to Terminal 21, so you can walk directly into the mall from the lobby. The room size is decent, and it has a balcony with a sea view. The sea views from the Hilton here are even more stunning. There's an outdoor observation deck on the 32nd floor offering a more panoramic view, and you can even see the Sanctuary of Truth. The housekeeping staff are also wonderful; they keep everything spotless. I give them 40 baht in tips every day, as they really work the hardest. The drinks and water in the mini-fridge are replenished daily for free, and the pool is also great. Check-in is generally in the afternoon, so if you arrive early, you might need to store your luggage before returning to check in. The hotel's location is superb. Pattaya is a small city, and this hotel is very close to the beach. Tiffany's Show is right downstairs, and there's a Big C supermarket to the left when you exit. The night market is also downstairs and sometimes moves to the first floor of the mall. Every morning, there are various free classes available for an hour. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel."

"This hotel is located near the big airplane roundabout by Terminal 21, directly across from the Akara Hotel. OZO is on the other side of the roundabout, closer to the beach, forming a sort of three-way dynamic. Check-in at the front desk was hit-or-miss; some staff were very proactive in explaining hotel amenities, while others were quite perfunctory. Luckily, I've stayed before so I knew the ropes. On the ground floor, there's a water park perfect for kids, featuring a wave pool and a lazy river. You need a wristband to enter, so don't forget to grab one when you check in – if it breaks, you can't re-enter. We received game tokens upon check-in, which you can use in the lobby on the L floor to play claw machines or exchange for food, drinks, and souvenirs – don't let them go to waste! The hotel's buffet breakfast is on the 6th floor, and there's a Let's Relax spa on the 7th floor (reservations highly recommended). The 31st floor boasts a gym with an amazing 360-degree view directly facing Terminal 21, perfect for photos. Across from it is a semi-open-air pool, which is adults-only. It's very clean, with excellent water quality and fantastic views where you can see the Sanctuary of Truth and the Pattaya sign. On the 32nd floor, there's a panoramic observation restaurant, also offering 360-degree views with floor-to-ceiling windows. When it's not too crowded, it's a great spot for pictures. They offer a wide variety of desserts and Western dishes, priced like a local five-star hotel. If you're feeling lazy and don't want to go out, this is a great option."

"Overall, it was a good stay. I was there for 3 nights. It's super close to the beach 🏖️ and Chinatown, literally a 3-minute walk, haha. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right outside, which was really convenient for grabbing things. Definitely recommend it!"

"My child had a great time. **Environment:** Very child-friendly, with lots of play areas for kids. **Facilities:** There's a kids' pool, and many children can play together. **Service:** Overall, it was good. **Hygiene:** Cleaned daily. **Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast is on the top floor, with a lovely sea view. **Overall:** ★★★★ Recommended"

"I'm not going to add any personal opinions, just state the facts about what happened during our four-day stay at the hotel. 1. **Check-in Process**: The hotel explicitly states check-in is after 3 PM. Our group arrived at 3:10 PM that day and were told one room would be ready in 15 minutes, and the other in 50 minutes. However, by 4 PM, neither room was ready. We finally got one room around 4:30 PM. I'd like to ask the hotel, if it takes an hour and a half to get one room ready, can guests also delay their check-out by an hour and a half? If you're understaffed, shouldn't you increase your personnel in advance? 2. **Mysterious Odor**: From late on the first night of our stay, one of the two rooms had a sewage smell emanating from the air conditioning vent. Over the next few days, maintenance repeatedly came to fix it, but the issue was never fully resolved by the time we checked out. We never found out where the smell was coming from, and the hotel offered no explanation. 3. **Housekeeping Efficiency**: We stayed for a total of four nights. Only on the second day was our room fully cleaned. On the third day, our group went to Koh Larn, leaving the hotel at 8 AM and returning at 4:30 PM. Upon entering, only 0.7 of the two rooms had been cleaned – you read that right, 0.7 of a room. In an entire day, not even one room was fully prepared, despite us informing the front desk in advance about our absence (they asked about our schedule due to the room odor issue). On the fourth day, we stayed in the hotel, resting and exploring nearby. We asked housekeeping to come at 5 PM, but they never showed up. Talk about saving effort. In summary, Pattaya is a city worth visiting a second or even multiple times, but as for this hotel, I'll leave it for others to experience."

"Great hotel, a 10-minute taxi ride to the port, Terminal 21, and Central Festival. Very new, fresh bedding, fresh towels, excellent LED TV, separate balcony, very large room with large, soft beds, bathtub, separate shower, shower with shampoo and shower gel, leather armchair in the room, 24-hour reception, right next to 7-Eleven, restaurant, breakfast served in the hotel, swimming pools nearby, moped rental just around the corner (100 meters), gym, and 24-hour security."

"I’ve stayed at several Ascott properties across different brands—Lyf, Oakwood, and Somerset—and they’ve consistently delivered great experiences. Somerset Pattaya was no exception and definitely lived up to my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was spotless, well-designed, and thoughtfully arranged, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop pool. It’s easily one of the nicest I’ve seen in Pattaya—an infinity pool with stunning views, and it gets sunlight throughout the day, which makes it perfect for relaxing. For families, there’s also a second pool featuring a large pirate ship, which is a fantastic touch for kids. The location is another major plus. Central Mall is just across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. If you’re looking for nightlife or entertainment, there are plenty of bars and venues just around the corner. Overall, Somerset Pattaya has become one of my favorite hotels in the city. It combines excellent service, great facilities, and a prime location. I’ll definitely be coming back again."

"The hotel facilities include a private beach with a children's water park and an on-land play center, which are very child-friendly for children under 14. You can stay and play at the hotel for several days without having to go out. We stayed in a family room with bunk beds, which added a lot of fun for families traveling with older children and alleviated concerns about young children sleeping alone. The hotel provides children's toiletries (see picture). We had a room at the very end of the left wing. It had two balconies, and the 180-degree sea view from one balcony was absolutely stunning. Please note that smoking is not allowed on the balcony, and violators will be fined. It's worth mentioning that perhaps because the hotel is a bit old, the shower water quality was very poor. Fortunately, I brought a filtered shower head; you can see from the picture what the filter looked like after two days of use. I suspect it's due to old pipes. Also, on the first day of check-in, the front desk informed me that the Ctrip price only included two people, even though I had confirmed that the bunk bed room type could accommodate four people. I had to pay an additional surcharge of over 5000🐷 for two nights at the front desk. After I confirmed that the fee included all breakfasts and services, the next day at breakfast, the staff again said that the room only included breakfast for two. This experience was very disappointing. For dining, the hotel has two buffet breakfast areas, one in each wing, on the Ba*****t floor, and you need to swipe your card to enter. They offer bread, salads, fruits, various egg dishes, congee, and hot dishes. Service will end after 10:30 AM, and food is usually cleared promptly at 11:00 AM. You can serve yourself ice cream. Directly across the road from the hotel entrance is a Tops supermarket where you can buy various snacks, milk, drinks, and beer, and it's open 24 hours. In the evening at 7:00 PM, there are food stalls in the alley across the road. I tried a highly recommended one for everyone; with about seven or eight dishes plus beer for 1800🐷, I think I can give an informed opinion. The fried chicken wings were delicious, and the stir-fried noodles were good, though not comparable to those in China. The curry squid was okay. Don't order shrimp or sweet and sour pork, as the shrimp were not fresh, and the pork ribs were very mediocre. Overall, just think of it as a night market street stall by a school, good for a quick fried rice or stir-fried noodles."
