Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel

Rooms were great. Front desk was mildly busy but handdled everything quickly and with smiles. Housekeeping was also great!

My fridge in my room was not cleaned out there was still food in it from the previous guest. The heat never really got to the temperature I set it to.

Clean room but the refrigerator didn't work, the light on the bedside didn't work and there was no waste basket in the bathroom.

Me and my wife planned a date night and picked this hotel. We had dinner reservations and I paid $70 in advance through ******* for breakfast. The Hotel had a small kitchen fire so no dinner was served. We also did not get our breakfast we paid for and the hotel and ******* refused to refund our $70. So basically they stole money from me. The Hotel had a complementary breakfast for ALL guests due to the fire inconvenience that was scrambled eggs, bacon and muffins. So we spent $70 for bacon and two coffees. Worth mentioning that almost no one at the hotel seemed to care at all, barely looked at us, just said no refund call *******. Felt like we were bothering them. Also, the fire caused a fire alarm and my wife had to walk down 8 flights of stairs with a bad knee. For some reason related to the fire the elevators were freezing and blowing strong winds (even the next day) I understand accidents happen and wouldn’t even write this review if I didn’t feel like they stole my money. Plain and simple I paid for a nice breakfast costing $35 a person and did not get it. With no refund that is stealing.

Great staff and very nice and clean rooms . Breakfast is great and reasonably priced

No one available to meet upon arrival. Parking wasnt free...the expensive room and basic accommodations should include parking.

I was highly disappointed in the cleanliness of my room, and even more so by the hotel's failure to fix it. A few small things were present early (and I am not a neat freak), but I only called the service desk after I was confronted with a shower wall covered in someone's long hair! I finished my morning shower and called the desk. They said 'I've got you... we'll get someone up there right away.' I left for the day and came back 8 hours later... my room had been 'cleaned' (bed made)... but the hair was still there! They finally addressed it while I was out for dinner. Just disappointing.
