Luxury Blue Horizon Hotel Weihai

The facilities are complete, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The service is warm and attentive, and the environment is beautiful. It's right next to the Weihai Grand Theatre and Weihai Convention Center. The hotel is just across the road from the sea, Weihai Park's 'Big Photo Frame' and Culture Square. From the room, you can overlook the sea, Liugong Island, and Weihai Park. You can even watch the sunrise in the morning. The breakfast offers a wide variety and tastes great.

The hotel is very clean and the location is excellent. The staff were attentive, and the Weihai Big Photo Frame is right downstairs. The only downside is that the room size isn't very big; it would be even better if it were a bit more spacious.

Weihai was packed during the summer holiday; everything was expensive, and there were no vacancies. This hotel felt a bit old, the lobby was grand, but the rooms were a bit subpar, perhaps a 3-star standard. Its only advantage was the location, being close to the sea.

Overall, my experience was pretty good. The breakfast spread was ample. If you want a room with a great view, you really need to be prepared to pay for it; don't expect a good sea view room for cheap. It was peak summer season, so there were a lot of tourists. The good rooms get booked out quickly if you don't reserve them in advance. The hotel service was also good; I left my tablet in my old room during a room change, and the staff found it and promptly delivered it to my new room. I stayed on the 21st and 22nd floors.

We arrived at the hotel at 4:30 PM, only to find no rooms available. We were told to wait at least 40 minutes. While waiting in the lobby, we noticed a group of men playing cards. Soon after, we smelled cigarette smoke. When we asked a staff member to address it, they rudely talked back to us, even being verbally abusive. I reported the situation to the lobby manager, and even had to actively seek an update from them. The final response was that they couldn't stop the men because they hadn't 'substantially witnessed' them smoking, among other unacceptable excuses. Although the hotel apologized and offered some gifts, it was an extremely poor experience for us, traveling a long distance with a child! I can only assume this is due to the hotel's usual lack of management, allowing these idle individuals to gather and play cards and smoke. I hope the hotel takes this issue seriously to prevent similar incidents from happening again! Also, we found bugs in the room and reported it to the front desk, but they couldn't provide any clear explanation... Sigh, so unprofessional!

The hotel lobby is quite grand, and the lounge area offers complimentary snacks and drinks. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with a practical layout. Just outside the window is the Weihai Big Photo Frame, a popular influencer check-in spot. The hotel's seafood buffet dinner was truly excellent value for money. Definitely recommended.

My experience was really bad. The gym didn't even have water. It felt like a budget hotel room in a 5-star hotel lobby. There are serious issues with the hotel's management and service system. During breakfast, a cleaning staff member actually broke a plate. I personally think the biggest reason is that the frontline staff are underpaid. The hotel owner and upper management's capabilities are lacking. This really damages Weihai's city image. I suggest replacing the owner.

Convenient location with direct sea views of Liugong Island from the sea-view rooms. 👍 The room environment is comfortable, clean, and hygienic! Complimentary late-night snacks and coffee are provided upon check-in! The free laundry service offered by the hotel is excellent!

The room was clean and tidy with a faint, pleasant scent. The bedding was fantastic, and I slept soundly and comfortably. I really appreciated the daily fruit delivery. From the window, I could see the sea and seagulls. Just downstairs was a great photo spot, and it was convenient to get everywhere. The breakfast was generous, making for a very comfortable little getaway.
