The hotel is okay, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is good: Unfortunately, I didn’t stay one night because of the change in the itinerary. I communicated with the hotel and wanted to change the date. I just didn’t agree. Hey, the Austrians just stay the same

We spent a weekend before Christmas in Wels. When we checked in we received a friendly welcome. The room and the bathroom were very stylish. The bed was okay. A small fridge in the room would have been great. I don't really think it's okay that you have to pay extra for parking. (Garage yes, but outdoors?). On the first evening we wanted to eat in the restaurant. The map was very manageable. Unfortunately there was only pizza or salad. The pepperoni pizza was topped with turkey sausage. Even at breakfast there was almost no normal sausage products, only turkey and chicken. More choice would be desirable here. All in all a nice hotel that still needs some finishing touches.

I spent a night on business trip in a single room standard and was really happy around. Good location so I went to foot from the office on the outskirts of the city, in the early 10 minutes to the train station for the further trip to Salzburg. Small but fine room, very compact, clean and quiet, WLan has worked. I had already contact around the forefront and I felt all interactions as friendly. If the opportunity is offered I would like to come back.

Schon beim Betreten der stilvollen Lobby wurde ich herzlich von einem professionellen und freundlichen Personal empfangen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und ich fühlte mich sofort willkommen. Das gesamte Team des Hotels zeichnete sich durch eine herausragende Serviceorientierung aus – stets aufmerksam, höflich und äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer, das ich bezog, war ein wahrer Traum. Geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit modernster Ausstattung versehen, ließ es keine Wünsche offen. Der atemberaubende Ausblick aus meinem Fenster trug zusätzlich zu meinem Wohlbefinden bei. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel war beeindruckend – jeden Tag wurde mein Zimmer gründlich gereinigt, und die Aufmerksamkeit für Details war nicht zu übersehen. Das kulinarische Angebot des hoteleigenen Restaurants war ein weiterer Höhepunkt meines Aufenthalts. Die vielfältige Auswahl an exquisiten Gerichten und die hohe Qualität der Zutaten überzeugten mich vollends. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine breite Palette an frischen Speisen, und das aufmerksame Personal sorgte stets dafür, dass es an nichts fehlte. Ich kann den Aufenthalt im Hotel Christkindlwirt nur weiter empfehlen. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

The Stadtoase Kolping Hotel is located in a rather quiet street with hardly any traffic, close to the Linz new cathedral and at a walking distance from the city center where most of the interesting and cultural points of the city find themselves. It's an excellent hotel having everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff members are nearly all of them very kind, helpful and friendly. One can get from the ladies working at the front desk all the necessary guidance to take as much profit as possible of one's stay in the marvellous city of Linz. In addition to that, they are always ready to give the best advice for the benefit of the customers even at the former's own initiative. The hotel parking is at the same level as the ground floor. Upon leaving the parking on foot through a door on the left hand side thereof as one drives into it, one finds himself at the reception area, what turns out to be very convenient as far as acceding into the hotel building is concerned, the more so if a heavy luggage is carried. Once inside, the fabulous atmosphere reigning in the premises is perceived. There is something special inside, something magical about which cannot be described but that sensitive people feel and thus makes them think that by choosing that hotel at least the best option has been selected. The room I was allocated is very nice and comfortable, as well as peaceful. I hardly heard any noise during the whole stay at the hotel, which was essential for the enjoyment resulting from visiting the mentioned city. The bed was indeed comfortable, its mattress having the necessary toughness for getting the adequate rest. The other pieces of furniture in the bedroom are also very appropriate particularly the table desk where I could get some work done. It's up to the guests to decide whether or not the bedroom is cleaned up on the days they deem convenient, which could be, by the way, the entire period of their stay. That's a great idea. By hanging the right card on the room door handle, one may have the certainty that while he is out visiting some interesting places nobody will enter his room and touch his belongings. That's very reassuring and besides it's extremely good for the environment. The breakfast is also excellent. Everything offered for that meal is of a high quality. The pastry and the fruits are very good and tasty as well as the orange juice. The breakfast room is decorated in such a way that the mere fact of being there makes one feel in high spirits. Owing to all the aforesaid elements, the time dedicated to having the stated meal can turn out to be a great moment and thus one of the best ways to start the day. The hotel concerned is therefore by all means a recommendable place to stay in Linz. The fact of lodging in there makes of course more pleasant the visit to that charming city. One would never quit that hotel once inside. Such a stay is absolutely an unforgettable experience which one is always wishing to repeat.

The hotel is very comfortable, the staff is good, there is no refrigerator, the shower cap should be asked at the front desk, the bathroom only has soap and body wash, no shampoo conditioner, body lotion and the like. However, the overall is quite good, worthy of 4 stars.

We are refugees from Ukraine, Kharkov, thank the hotel management for the shelter, care and assistance provided. In these difficult days, the hotel has become our home. The hotel is very comfortable with beautiful location and comfortable clean rooms. Thank you very much for your attention, response and understanding. Thank you very much for your support in these difficult days for us.

Again one that it's worth visiting. The price/performance ratio is super. Reception is very friendly, as well as the barkeeper. The rooms are sufficiently large and equipped with TV and tablet. Breakfast buffet is sufficient. We will certainly come back.
