Often stay at PIs and this is not one of the best. The staff were friendly and welcoming but the room was a little tired. The hook was missing on the back of the bathroom door and there was no chair in front of the dressing table/desk. The room was clean but could have done with a lick of paint and the tea/coffee hadn't been replenished. On the plus side though it was a great location a few minute walk into the Barbican

Apart from a long trek from reception to room 23 for my husband who is mostly wheelchair dependent I can't fault premier inn lockyers quay. The staff are amazing, continously going above & beyond & are always extremely helpful & friendly The one let down which is totally out of the hotels control is the long narrow corridor from reception to room 23. I was often asking house keeping to move their cleaning trolleys to get hubby & wheelchair through. Room 23 not great for wheelchair dependent guests, however the room was perfect. Thank you all for a great 3 night stay. See you again in a few weeks time.

Had a wonderful stay at Lockyers Quay. Rooms were spotless and beds comfortable, had a great night sleep. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Very close to the city centre and the historic Barbican. Just across the carpark there is a lovely restaurant. Would recommend and stay again

Absolutely amazing stay, check in very smooth, staff very helpful and friendly:) Very good location with lots of pubs and restaurants across the bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. Thank you so much for everything Premier Inn x

Stayed here a number of times over the years when viisting family in the area. Love the hotels location as a short walk to the Barbican and Aquarium plus plenty of resturants etc in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Walid at breakfast time who made us all laugh too :-) The hotel whilst lovely and clean, is a getting a little tired both externally and internally, starting to show its age and certainly could do with a refresh. Apart from that great value.

Very tired run down hotel.Had to change rooms because it smelt so bad. Carpets grubby, paintwork shabby. No purple throws or pillows on bed just very tired duvet cover. Heating either too hot or too cold no consistency. Bathroom did not look clean.

Premier Inn is always good, wherever it is in the UK, it feels like home. Friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed. Id usually like 2 nights so I can make the most of our stay,unfortunately only a night this time. Came to stay to see bill Bailey at pavilions, so wasn't in the room much. 2 nights in May!

All the staff are so welcoming and lovely. Is a great location, close to the aquarium, town and the barbican. All of which the staff helped with their recommendations. Had a lovely meal with associated Cookhouse and Pub. Thank you very much team Lockyer's Quay.

Clean and comfortable room in a well located position for local amenities, staff were friendly and helpful, quiet room, unfortunately the hotel and restaurant could not supply us with decaffeinated tea and decaffeinated coffee was also in short supply.
