Yulong Shahu Container Hot Spring Hotel

The absolute best thing about this hotel is its location, right inside the Yulong Sand Lake scenic area. From the terrace, you look out onto the desert and the lake. We took the kids out to stargaze at night, and you'd never see a sky like that in the city; they were so excited they didn't want to go back to the room. The hotel's shuttle service was quick to respond, and the facilities are very complete, so you don't have to worry about meals at all. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is located right inside the scenic area. The container rooms are quite unique, and each comes with a balcony offering direct views of the beautiful lake. We even caught the bonfire party in the evening, which was a great way for the kids to burn off some energy. Staying at the hotel meant free admission to the park and two complimentary entertainment activities. Most importantly, staying within the scenic area saved us travel time, giving us more freedom. Definitely worth experiencing!

Facilities: The facilities are good. Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent. Environment: Stepping out from the balcony door, there's a small patio with two chairs and a small table. You can see a small part of the Shahu Lake and the sand dunes where you can sandboard. The scenery is pristine, absolutely stunning. Service: The service is quite good. Since the room is a bit far from the hotel lobby, a car is available on call. They also provided complimentary hot spring tickets. There are 12 outdoor hot springs, and it's really nice to go for a dip with your swimsuit. Bonfire Carnival Night Under the Stars (Exclusive from July 10th - August 20th): Before the bonfire party, someone will liven up the atmosphere. Yulong Shahu Scenic Area Single Ticket: Since the hotel is within the scenic area, you can enter directly with your hotel booking confirmation without needing to buy an additional ticket.

The Yulong Sand Lake Container Hot Spring Hotel was an amazing surprise! The industrial container design blends perfectly with the desert lake scenery. You can lie in bed and watch the desert sunset through the floor-to-ceiling windows, then soak in the hot spring at night while stargazing – the ambiance is absolutely divine. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the shuttle service around the resort was convenient, and staying inside the scenic area allowed us to enjoy it at off-peak times, which was incredibly relaxing. This unique resort offers incredible value for money, highly recommended!

I came with my parents and children, and I didn't expect the stay to be so comfortable. I regret not staying a few more days, as I feel like you could easily spend a whole day here. Just sitting at the room's entrance, you could enjoy the beautiful scenery all afternoon, including the sandy lake. In the evening, we also enjoyed the hot spring, which was very relaxing. The overall service was excellent; there's a guest group where you can call for a car anytime. All the services were top-notch, and they even had archery and target practice.

The location is fantastic! You can see the beautiful Shahou Lake right from your window, saving you travel time to and from the scenic area. The mattress is comfortable, and the sunrise and sunset views are unbeatable. The shuttle service is convenient, and the staff are attentive. The breakfast tastes good, making your stay at Yulong Shahou worry-free and comfortable. They don't have children's toothbrushes or toothpaste, which is an area they could improve on.

The front desk service was excellent and very welcoming; they even upgraded our room, which we really appreciated! It was incredibly hot, apparently the hottest Inner Mongolia has been in 20 years. I nearly got heatstroke riding camels in the desert (you have to walk down after riding up). The room was tiny, the bathroom was old, and the bed wasn't very clean – there were even hairs and stains on the pillow (for a 600-yuan room, that's unbelievable). Overall, it definitely wasn't worth the price.

The front desk service was very thoughtful. The golf cart driver worked hard, picking us up punctually trip after trip despite the scorching heat. The lake view room was amazing!

The bonfire party at Yulong Sand Lake was absolutely brimming with atmosphere! A roaring bonfire lit up the desert night, accompanied by melodious grassland music, as tourists held hands and danced joyfully around it. Looking up, the sky was a canvas of countless stars, and the evening breeze carried the unique scent of the sand sea. It was both lively and incredibly therapeutic. The staff were warm and attentive, and the on-site atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, far from the city's hustle and bustle. This desert bonfire experience was the most unforgettable memory of our trip, highly recommended!
