Holiday Inn Express & Suites WEST LONG BRANCH - EATONTOWN by IHG

Overall it was a great stay, I will 100% be staying here in the future. There are a few things that others might consider big deals tho. Almost all the doors were crooked, making them loud to close and open. The breakfast was okay, not alot of variety and the juice is really watered down. The side doors for access do not work with a key card, so if you go out you must go back in the main entrance. I do want to mention some good things though. The staff was super nice and friendly, shower was really nice, bed was comfortable, and the hotel was really quiet other than 2 instances that are not the hotels fault. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a easy and safe place to rest their head.

The a c was fine a little too cold.Even when you turned it down. Never had a chance to experience breakfast because due to fire alarm evacuation!

Super unfriendly woman at check in, very basic hotel that feels more like a motel, without so much as a smart TV (still have to pay 24.99 to rent a movie lol). Rooms close to elevators aee noisy but acoustics are bad all over, you can hear people using the bathroom in random other rooms.

The room was very clean. I loved the liquid soap. I especially liked the handicapped shower.

The breakfast was cold but we did go 45 minutes before breakfast service ended. The staff were all very pleasant. The drains in the shower and sink were slow to drain. That’s a little gross.

Breakfast was nice to have, but they do not refill bagels or donuts once they are gone for that day they’re gone. We were there through the weekend and it seems that they warm up leftovers so when we went to eat the eggs and the sausage it was very dry and overcooked. We had an issue with the air-conditioning. We could not turn it off. Our room was very cold. we tried to turn up the temperature and that did not help. We had already unpacked and after we realized the sink and bathtub do not drain well by the third day it did not drain at all, and we had to move rooms the last night. I brought it up to the Customer Service desk and she said that she will have her manager contact me and possibly give me points as compensation, but no type of refund because I had prepaid for our hotel stay. The hotel was clean, but there was a weird smell in the hall. Staff was very nice. This location was very busy with college students as well as family with kids.
