Vacation Village at Bonaventure, Fort Lauderdale

I’ve already contacted the hotel about my experience. We didn’t get there until 1 am. The room I had paid for was for 1 room with 2 bedrooms. We had 7 people. No vending machines no ice machines and the area did not feel safe to me. Walking in with 3 kids at 1 am and people standing outside our door. The main door to the building is not secure. Overall there was a lot of space but 2 totally different rooms…not one as described and no pool view as described.

Did not receive the proper room I booked bed was hard as a rock neighbors were noisy as can be walls are very thin. do not stay here.

The room was clean and comfortable, not much staff around. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, fridge, stove, dishwasher, and everything worked. It is a dated property that could use some uplifting, but if you can see past that, it's great for families.

Fire alarm went on and stayed on for more than a hour…even after the fire truck left. And that was at 10 pm…we had to get up at 6 am Not much sleep that night!

The rooms were large and spacious. Felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay. We chose two bedroom suites and big enough for our groups with enough Space and close off doors in both side for complete privacy. Also each bedroom had its own kitchen and living areas. It was a lovely stay😊

The unit is large and fully kitchen equipped for the family meals! I booked deluxe unit which has the very nice balcony and view! Happy with my booking!

I don’t recommend this place I found cockroach in my room and I checked out earlier no one take responsibility and they ignored me specially don’t book the flamingo location it’s 4 minutes driving from original hotel and not clean

The room was very clean and spacious. The Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. In-room laundry was great. The pools were wonderful. The air conditioning went out and maintenance was there and had it fixed within an hour. The beds were a little too firm for our liking, but everything else was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I travel a lot and This was the worst resort experience I have ever had. They missed it completely! The check-in process was a nightmare, it took almost 1 hour after a very long day - I had my grandma and she fell asleep in their lobby. Then we didn't get the rooms we paid for. I chose to book a suite with 2 rooms so we could be together instead I was given 2 rooms that were not adjoining. Then to make matters worse I am sleeping and I hear my door opening and before I knew what was happening another guest was in my room, while I was in bed our eyes met and I screamed and he left confused with his partner. How did this happen?!!
