The second stay at the hotel was good overall but the room was not satisfied with the cleaning. Many guests have not been cleaned and cleaned for 2 days. Breakfast is still worthy of recognition. The front desk service is also very good. The sea view and courtyard view are beautiful

We enjoyed our stay at Papagayo Beach Hotel in Curaçao. After arrival, the room did not be all our desires, but we received a upgrade from Landiz de Lima and then had a beautiful room with beautiful views. The location is also very beautiful. The service was top and the staff has helped us very well, especially the girls behind the bar that helped us when arrived to lift the bags up and baby bed. All with a nice stay! ”

I visited Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort with my boyfriend. We had a great time. Staff was very friendly, helped us with everything (shout out to the staff in the lobby). The food was very good and diverse. Loved the cocktails at flamingo bar, we tried a lot of them ;). Definitely coming back to this place. Don’t always trust the reviews you read here! Keep in mind it’s peoples personal opinion. In our opinion it was GREAT.

We booked the hotel for 2 main reasons...1. its proximity to the 10/10 celebrations in downtown and the concert of Oscar d'Leon on October 9, 2023 and 2. celebration of my birthday on 10/10/2023. Although not standard practice, the room was decorated for the birthday occasion by the hotel staff. The personnel is very attentive to guests and special requests. Special arrangements were made for the temporary access of friends and family who visited me on both October 9 and 10, 2023. It is a typical small mid-town hotel with the possibility of taking walks and visiting the restaurants in downtown/Punda. there are still signs of Work in Progress. Cascade (rooftop Bar and Pool) is a very unique experience in downtown. Parking arrangements for hotel guests with the adjacent Pietermaai Parking is also a very important amenity for clients with transportation. All by all a very joyfull and interesting experience.........

My stay at Avila Beach was one of the very best vacations I had in a long time. My first visit to Avila Beach was 42 years ago on my honeymoon, and since my husband's passing 5 years ago I wanted to return. Needless to say, things have changed dramatically, but for the better. The food, the staff, the spa and the accommodations were all top notch. God willing, I'd like to make this a yearly trip. I'd also like to extend a special thank you to Vaynis at Cloud Nine Spa, who had hands that were kissed by the angels; Nathania, who was doing double duty at both The Pen and Blues Restaurants and was very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed, and, lastly the two young ladies at the front desk, and forgive me, but I didn't get the name of one, and the other I wrote down, but can't find the paper, but it started with a ”Jean”. Sorry about that, but they were extremely patient and helpful with me when I checked in. Bottom line, this was money well spent and God bless the staff of Avila Beach Hotel for making my trip memorable.

spent 7 days here and stayed in an efficiency room. 2 beds, microwave, small fridge, coffee pot with filters and a few assorted utensils and cups. The room faced the Sea Aquarium, and you can see the dolphins from the small balcony. There is also an ocean view to the west. There are 2 pools and a hot tub overlooking the water. There is a small beach that is part of the lagoon. The water is crystal clear and so beautiful. You can snorkel right of the beach. There is a great destination snorkel spot about 400 yard swim which was easy to get to. There is a restaurant on site but not part of the resort. It's only been open for a few weeks, so there are some challenges. The food is ok. You can purchase cocktails There as well and take them to the beach. One real negative was the bed. It was terrible. Not firm and was concave in the middle. The most positive part of the resort is the staff. Estella, Alejandra, Sherman, Felix were amazing! Ann Marie was an absolute blessing!! There you have it.

My family and I spent 5 days at The Rif for spring break. The grounds are immaculate, great location. We spent most of the time at the pool at the sister location because the one at the Rif was a bit deep for my daughter. We had an excellent time. Location: Great. Ocean and beach was beautiful. Nice water slides for the kids. Room: Room was good. Enough room for the 3 Of us. We had the ocean/cruise ship view. I wish the top levels of the resort were open (still under construction); the views would’ve been much better being able to really look at the ocean. We were on the 2nd floor. Our housekeeper didn’t do the best job. When we checked into our room, there was a stain on the bathroom floor. I just took a wipe from my purse and cleaned it. That set The precedent for my daily housekeeping. The housekeeper changed the towels, most of the time not leaving a shower rug, emptied the trash can and made the bed daily. My daughter’s cup of hot chocolate apparently left a chocolate ring on the dresser. The housekeeper took the cup but left the ring. I took clean up wipes that I travel with and cleaned the dresser and table daily myself. I looked in the floor and saw that my daughter dropped her pillow and a few raisinettes on the floor by the chair; they were still on the floor when we returned to our room. Food: Overall the food was good. The BBQ and seafood tavern were outstanding. The Red snapper delicious. The food at the pool was okay, the food in the buffet was okay as well. There were times that we had to wait quite a while for the food to be replenished on the buffet. I love all of the self service beverage and wine stations. Drinks: Because I was with my daughter, the cocktails were okay. However wouldn’t okay be for a girlfriends trip. The cocktails were weak and watered down. Unless you go to the smoothie bar, get a frozen smoothie and have them to add a double shot of liquor. Not that I would want to be drunk but maybe a little buzz. But nope that didn’t happen. Also there’s little to no pool service. Occasionally a guy walks around and asks if you want pop but that’s it. If you want a cocktail, get up and get it yourself. Even having a cabana, there’s really no service. Service: Most of the people were friendly and happy. The front desk staff, Raju at the omelette station, the 2 ladies that made my daughter hot chocolate in Mondi’s were outstanding. There were a few of the employees that had scowls on their face and didn’t seem happy to even be there. But that was just a few. Entertainment: Not much resort entertainment. Maybe about 40 minutes at the Mangrove pool And music. The entertainment at night was minimal. If you’re looking for laid back and kid friendly; this is the resort . It’s definitely not for those that want to ‘turn up’.
