A beautiful, old house with a rustic ambiance. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite small and awkwardly laid out, and not ideally furnished. The double bed was only accessible for the second person by climbing over the other; vice versa, of course; annoying if you need to get up in the night. The room did have a safe, but it was locked, and since there was no staffed reception, we couldn't use it. There was also no refrigerator; this should be standard nowadays; it's not always drinks that need to be chilled, but also things like medication. The toilet was truly unacceptable, seemingly designed for small children due to the cramped space. Otherwise, the hotel has a perfect location in the old town, and the cleanliness, beds, and breakfast were good (especially the friendly lady behind the counter who took care of the preparation). Personally, I'm not a fan of automated check-in systems involving websites, emails, and multiple key codes. Having a real, human face at reception for a quick chat or to answer questions makes a hotel stay somehow more pleasant. In conclusion: Okay for one night, but we wouldn't choose it for longer stays.
