We stayed here for 2 nights. You need to park your car outside on the double yellows and go in to check in, unload luggage and get the parking permit which allows you to park in a choice of two car parks which I think the 'Swannery car park' is the closer one about a 5-10 minute walk away which is easy to get to. We had a good room, the ceiling was high and the room was a decent size. There was a double bed, bunk bed, shower and toilet room in the corner, the sink was in the room. There was a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The TV was relatively small for the size of room and channels available was lacking (could maybe do with being re-tuned to get all of the freeview channels). The beds were comfy and bedding was ok. When you check in you decide what you want for breakfast and have to give notice if you want to change it (night before at latest and if you forget the options you have to ask what options are available as it didn't seem to have a printed breakfast menu). You also have to choose a time to have your breakfast which you might not be able to get a time that you want depending on how busy the place is and on the other guests. I had the full English which was nice, this consisted of one sausage, one bacon, beans, egg, tomato and the first morning was mushrooms and the second morning it was a hash brown (this changes each day). You can have a breakfast starter which you can choose to have cereal, yogurt, chocolate pastry and for kids a yogurt which is a choice of 3 flavours. I had the chocolate pastry which was ok (it was from supermarket 'pan au chocolate' multi-pack which are individually plastic wrapped ones) Overall the owners and staff were friendly, the room was good, beds were comfy. The location is good with being opposite the beach and just a short walk from the centre and restaurant and shops. Train station is just a couple of minutes walk away.
