Reviews of Crow's Nest Apartments

A very comfortable, clean and well appointment apartment, close to town and eateries. Lovely hosts. As these apartments are not serviced every day the only thing we would suggest is to have another hand towel available for when we washed our towels, and if that is our only problem we have nothing to complain about! A great four night stay, would highly recommend.

The little town of Whitianga is perfectly situated to visit the lovely Coromadel Peninsula. Crows Nest apartments are spacious, spotless and beautifully furnished with everything you would need including tea and coffee and starter cleaning products which is great. Quality appliances with dishwasher, washer and dryer. Lovely sea views from the large terrace and walking distance to the main street. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. These are very comfortable apartments and well located for exploring Whitianga and the Coromandel Peninsula. We had a large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a washer and dryer as well as a large balcony that offered water views over the beach and to the harbour. The apartment was very clean and modern and had access to a parking space. We would have liked a few more pantry items, eg cooking oil and foil, so as to make use of the kitchen for dinner one night. We’d been on the go for a week and were looking forward to some dining in. These aren’t the kind of things you carry with you if you’re on the move and staying in areas for just a couple of nights.

Great three night stay. Helpful and friendly check in. Excellent location a few minutes walk from everything. Apartment had a nice view from the balcony. It is exactly as shown on the website there was no view from the room as it is one back from the waterfront. Provided with ample dishwasher and laundry powder. Clean spacious room and good bed.

Nice location close to the beach. We booked an apartment with Sea view. Well the only sea view you get is standing at the side of your balcony.. The apartment basically has everything, from washing machine to well equipped kitchen. But everything is a bit outdated. Sofa is old, kitchenware quit used and damages in the bathroom. However, the place was clean and in view of the very reasonable price still 4 stars. Quality however more 3 than 4 stars. Pictures look beter than reality.

Fabulous location to the beach and town. Check was easy, the apartment was clean and spacious. However, it is a tad tired- patio furniture was broken- couch saggy and beds and pillows hard. I woke with a bad back daily: however my husband slept well although said the bed was hard. Would I recommend this property- yes, but be aware it needs an update.

stopped here for five days to recharge after our long tour it was the best location and accommodation we had in 12 other destinations. Clean modern and quiet with excellent facilities WiFi and parking. Kitchen was fully equipped. TV was great and a roof top to sit was watch the sun go down was an unexpected bonus. Short walk to beach restaurants shops ferry etc. we hired beach towels for some days too. It exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful comfortable room with an amazing balcony view of the ocean. Just a minute walk and you’re at the sea, alongside a variety of nice cafes/restaurants. Great parking available too. Would definitely stay here again & would recommend to anyone!

Lovely clean one bedroom apartment with ensuite, everything we needed for a two day stay. Sea views from balcony. Helpful friendly staff. Great location walking distance to most ammenities. Car park available.

Immaculately clean quiet and well decorated. We were down looking at a boat. Really liked position and friendly service desk. Very comfortable bed, really thoughtfully appointed and equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again, could not fault the place

This accommodation is outstanding and previous reviews praising the facilities certainly rang true. It far exceeded our expectations in every facet. Comfortable bedlinen and beds, great showers and a well equipped kitchen were much appreciated. The entire complex was spotlessly clean also. We will certainly return.

Probably the best place we've stayed. The apartment was large, modern and extremely clean. Nothing was tired; no scuff marks, chips or loose fittings. Everything in full working order. Road closures due to recent cyclone damage meant that we had to postpone our arrival by a couple of days which unfortunately shortened our visit. Crows Nest Apartments were extremely helpful in changing our booking and keeping us informed of the best way to drive there in the circumstances (highway 24A still being closed). Would love to return and stay longer.

Lovely clean self service apartment that met all of our needs as a couple travelling with our elderly mum, even down to an elevator to bring us up to our apartment with fantastic views of the Harbour. We would most definitely stay here again. Crows Nest apartments had a feeling of beach holiday, with coastal feel interior design that made you feel like you had stepped into your beach house. Lovely art on the wall too! We traveled in Spring, and had all the machines to wash and dry our clothes or swimming things right in our apartment. With a few sachets of wash powder. The apartments were close to beach, town, restaurants. Not much more I can say really!! 😊🏖️

Highly recommend this accommodation for your stay in whitianga. Apartments are very spacious and well equipped. Great location with walking distance to local bars, restaurants, shops, playground and beach. We will definitely be back.
