Club Wyndham Kingsgate

We like all the activities for the family, indoor and outdoor pool, mini golf, playground, etc. The 2 rooms apartments with access to the 1 room apartment was perfect for our family to have plenty space. We’re planning to go back.

Stay in the Williamsburg area often. Live 1/1/2 hours away. Was in need of another hotel due to the one I have been staying at getting shabby. Kingsgate was a very plesant experience. Nice staff, lovey rooms and very clean. Was most pleasant.

we did not use any ammenities as we were there 2 nights. But it was spacious for an excellent price, as it was the off season. My only beef was that the sales presentation went on and on and my assigned sales people, who were very nice, did not keep their presentation (and accompanying sales pressure) to the agreed upon time. I basically felt captured/kidnapped! They did finally give me the gifts.

The condo was clean. Upon arrival there was food particals in the sink. I rinse that away. The king bed was not up to par from my precious stays at Wyndham. The padding was good however the quality of the mattress itself was poor. It felt like we slept in a whole. I had to use ALL of the pillows in thecondo to make it through the first night. This stay was suppose to be a rest and relaxing weekend. I did not report anything because I did not want a fuss. The bedroom door felt like it was off the hindge. The door also sticks. Otherwise the property and the amenities of the property was great. It would have been helpful to CALL the cafe to order food. I call the front desk to get an extention and was advised there wasn't an extension. Therefore I orderedd door dash instead.

The property gave us an uncleaned room when we arrived late at night with our three children (all under 7). After complaining, we were moved to another room that was outdated and dusty. When we were ready for bed, my husband tried to set up the sofa bed, but there were no extra pillows or a comforter. We called room service twice and were told each time that someone would bring them, but no one ever came. We didn’t receive those items until the next morning—when we were already checking out. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.

Had a fantastic time with the lovely pool, hot tub, and activities. Not much staff available for helping. Thanks for a fun visit, we will be back!

Great place for our weekend stay in Williamsburg. Only complaint was we could hear every step the people above us made. Wasn’t a big issue because they were early to bed but it could be an issue if someone above is up late walking around. We played mini golf, heard the history story around the campfire, and listened to music in the lounge. Fun stay.

Pool was closed due to glass broken. Maybe wouldn’t have happened if they had better supervision on property. Kids are running around the area, climbing on the rocks by the waterfall,etc. furniture it’s very dated and uncomfortable as a rock! Golf carts are constantly going and very loud! Checking in I told the gal my husband had a heart condition and she put us on the second floor and NOT walking distance to the pool/ammenties!!

The activities center/staff is really nice. The rooms are outdated and showing their age. However - the time-share push at checkout is horrible and way too intense. Soured our entire experience of the place and will not go back because of it.
