The people at the desk were very nice and so were the housekeepers. The hotel was being renovated, but there were still rooms available. I had an excellent room. Very clean with a nice size TV, refridgerator, microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer, and you could keep it very cool if you wanted. Not like some other hotels where they control the temperature. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The housekeepers were excellent and my room was always fresh and clean, with everything I needed. You could get coffee and continental breakfast in the morning that was perfect for me. Since I am not a breakfast person. The facilities were closed, because of the renovations, but that was okay with me. I would stay there again, if I was in that area. Oh and lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

We had our first family reunion here this weekend and it was a great success thanks to the wonderful staff. Roxanna, Vickie, Izzy, & Marvin were excellent. If you are thinking about having a function here, DO NOT HESITATE! BOOK IT! They took care of my every need and helped my family out of a last minute jam. Room I was in was very clean , nice and spacious. Free continental breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Front desk clerk gave me very easy direction to get to the hotel.it is right off to I-81.I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

This has literally been the best experience I have had at a hotel in a very long time. The hotel room was by far the most cleanest I've been in. My 3 year old loved the indoor pool and the hours made it possible for her to take advantage during a busy schedule. Hotel staff were so friendly and very outgoing!

Checked in at midnight with family. Very clean, simple cozy rooms. Girls (7 and 10) loved the breakfast, specially the pancake machine and candy toppings for yogurt! Friendly folks. Will be a place we stop on our way to see family in future!

The GW in Winchester is downtown Old Winchester. Its an old Grand Hotel with amazing rooms all with quality furnishings and beds so comfy you can sleep all day. The lobby features a piano bar and lounge, which is a huge attraction to visitors and locals. The Hotel also features a very good resturant for nice table cloth dining. Food is excellent. The hotel also features a Greek style indoor pool and hot tub. Location is at the end of tje downtown walking mall, so get out and check out all the shops and resturants- the mall often features events and outdoor music. This Hotel is also perfect if you are visiting and exploring all the history the area has to offer. (Some items are covid restricted, amended resturant hours and hot tub may be closed delending on restrictions- pool was open though) check this place out - definately a good experience.
