That is one comfort Inn I won't be staying at unless I have no choice! no elevator! For a ground floor I had to pay an extra 10 dollars! I am a 81 year old and am not able to do stairs! When I questioned this I was told that was the price for ground floor regardless of the fact they were not able to accommodate with an elevator! The clerk was very rude! White male in his mid fifties or older! Grey hair! I booked thu trip.com because the rate was the best! After doing so I phoned the hotel to confirm the room and was told then of the 10 dollar extra fee for ground floor! At that time I asked if I could access the room from the outside! (Same clerk on the phone happened to be the one at the desk when I checked in!) He stated the room could be accessed from outside! He failed to explain that it has to be unlocked from the inside first! Not being familiar with comfort inns, I assumed it was a single door with a card key! Which was not of course! The inside area around that outside access door including the door track was filthy! The carpet in the room was filthy as well! With the prices they charge, you would think they could afford to keep things cleaner! I did not feel comfortable staying there even for one night! Also difficult to get to hotel! Poor sign location!
