Virginian Resort

It was a basic place to stay. Not expensive but it çould have been a bit cleaner. The TV and Internet had issues in this room.

We never had to walk more than 10 feet to our door from where we parked. We did not have kitchen unit.

Clean. Convenient. Great Value. We love that it's pet friendly. Easy parking right next to cabin.

The room was very basic and a bit small, but comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

I really wanted to like this place, but overall it just wasn’t worth the price. The hotel felt small and drab, and the carpets throughout were dirty and unpleasant. There was no fan in the bathroom, the walls were very thin, and the room had a lingering smell that made the stay less comfortable. On the positive side, the blackout curtains worked extremely well, which made it easy to sleep in. The wall heaters also worked fine and kept the room warm. The staff were friendly and kind, which I appreciated. And of course, the surrounding area is always beautiful.

The room is funky - very small bedroom, teeny tiny tv screen way up high. When you open the bathroom door it takes up half of the kitchen. When we arrived, the cabinet doors below the sink were open with a heater sitting on the floor which meant we had to move things around before the kitchen was usable. Seems like that could've been taken care of before we arrived? The decor is pretty entertaining! Nicely done on that ;-)

Rustic, no frills but clean, comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, good tv and spacious room all for a great price. Best value I’ve found in Winthrop. Next to grocery store and best pizza place. So convenient. Walls are thin but my neighbors were quiet so no problem with that. Spacious common room area for gatherings of friends.

Nice beds and staff was very accommodating. Our large hockey group was able to have team dinners in the meeting room with kitchen. Much appreciated for allowing us to use this space.
