I really loved how peaceful and quiet it was. The cabin was very clean, especially the beddings. Usually in hotels/cabins I find a hair or a spot on the bedding but not here. Would come again!

About what we expected from a rustic property. Heat was by only electric baseboards that were either on (hot) or off (cold).

Front desk clerk super friendly and helpful. Only “bummer” was no breakfast. Kitchenette was small, had a single burner, pans, and enough dishes for everyone! It was a great little cabin did the job very nicely. Parking next to the cabin so didn’t have to walk far. Recommend and would/will stay here again.

The Virginian was very charming and comfortable. They were very nice and easy going while checking in and gave us some good local restaurant suggestions.

Nothing fancy... humorous that they use the term "resort" in their title. But it works for a decent price.

This is a cool place to stay. Close to town, and right on the river. That being said this is a rustic resort. If you are looking for a rustic, clean and cool place to stay this is it.

The Virginian is in a great spot. Easy walk to town on the trail. There’s a level 2 EV charger at the very good pizza place next door. Nice outdoor areas. Rustic cabins. The “big” bed in our cabin was very small and would not really be suited for a couple.

It was a unique place to stay, if not a bit dated. Staff were friendly and property well maintained.

I like having the privacy of my own cottage. Very few guests at the moment so it’s quiet. Road noise not so great. Grounds are nice with lots of room to walk my dog. I’d come back.
