We had a room on the first floor with 2 beds and a sofa. The person who slept on the sofa said it was the most comfortable sofa in a hotel that he's slept on and he's stayed a few in the last couple of years. The beds were too firm for me so I did not sleep well. Shower water pressure was decent, which is something that is important to me. The room was a good size for 4 people. The bathroom was quite large. The closet was huge, you could easily stand in there and get changed. You could see that the room had some use, as there were dings in the walls here and there. We did hear a bit of noise from the people above us. At the time I appreciated being checked in early, but if I had to do it over, I would have requested the top floor or at least a higher floor and waited for a later check-in if necessary so we didn't have the sound of people above us. We did not use the pool, but there were plenty of people using it and it seemed adequate. The fitness room was nice, they had 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals and free weights and there was plenty of room to stretch. It was walking distance to a Subway, which worked out for a quick dinner for the kids after a long waterpark day. The breakfast was decent. It is always nice to have the option of eggs and breakfast meats, and cook your own waffles. It was very busy in the mornings though, so plan on needed extra time if you want a waffle for sure. I would have liked to see more options for the breads and muffins; there was only 1 type of bread and 1 type of muffin. I did enjoy seeing the scones as a choice, but would have liked another type other than chocolate chip, but that's just my preference. Overall, I would probably try somewhere else next time due to the hard mattress issue, but if you like a firm mattress this might be the place for you.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights. Nothing bad to say about this place. Location was great, only takes a few minutes to get to pretty much all of the attractions, including downtown dells. Very quiet, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was great, loved the bathroom, this is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at! No complaints at all! Definately recommend!

We had a very enjoyable stay at LaQuinta Lake Delton/WI Dells. We experienced geat customer service. The facility was only 2 years old when we stayed, & offered a modern atmosphere. Included breakfast was tasty & complete. Facility's whirlpool was spacious & pool size suffucient. Patio offered a modern fireplace 24/7, and also a gas grill (which we did not use). Only one slup up - our room was not cleaned when we entered, so we were issued a different room. Reasonable rates for the quality, cleanliness & amenities included. We recommend this LaQuinta Inn & Suites location.

We had our daughters wedding here and rented the outdoor wedding venue, Chalet, event tent and multiple 2 bedroom condos. The rooms were all very nice and large with more than enough space. Kitchens were well equipped and beds were comfortable. I wouldn't have rented the Chalet if it wasn't required as part of the wedding package as is was dated and needed repairs and updating. We only used it for wedding party prep. The outdoor wedding venue was very nice. Thankful we had perfect weather for the outdoor ceremony. The event tent worked perfect and was plenty warm even on a cool evening. It was in good condition. I wish the internal lighting of tent was adjustable instead of either off or on brightly. The portable dance floor was pretty worn and had a few areas that could have been a tripping hazard. We did not have any problems though. Staff was very helpful from the check in counter, wedding coordinator, catering and bartenders. Han and his bartending staff all performed above expectations and were very much appreciated by all. I would recommend the Chula Vista for anyone considering hosting an outdoor wedding and tent reception.

Is it a luxury hotel? No. Is it worth the value? Absolutely. I brought my daughter and her friends for a birthday weekend and rented one of the two bedroom suites with a pull out couch in the living area. It was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. It did not smell very good, but I febrezed and that helped a lot. The girls spent time at the pools and arcade and enjoyed themselves. Best part is that you get free tickets to Timbavati Wildlife park, and attraction passes to the Wild Fun Zone for everyone in your party. The attraction passes include one round of laser tag, 3D golf and 2 laser mazes- and you can then add $$ to the card to play video games. The location is good- not far from Broadway (the big shopping area)- I wouldn't say walking distance, but still a convenient spot. I will definitely be staying here again.

A day before the trip I got an email from the hotel saying how excited they are for our stay, attached was also our payment. However the payment went up in charge $20 from when I first booked. I’ve worked at a Best Western for 4 years as well as my mom had for 15+ and is now part of corporate. When I told her this she was very upset as was I. I called the hotel and they told me I needed to call Google to talk about my payment. You can’t contact Google for a hotel room but I was told that to get off the phone. I called customer service and they told me that what they told me was wrong and that they changed the price seconds after I booked the room and they aren’t sure why. My mom later called the hotel back, asked for the manager and explained what happened. The manger was very nice and helped fix the issue. Hotels can’t change the price of the amount after you have already booked it and they did. We had to stop to fix the issue a day before. That was the worst part about the stay we had. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful, tucked away and super roomy. the staff we spoke to was very nice and helpful. Besides the charge issue, I totally recommend this hotel.
