What a lovely hidden gem in Woodbridge Suffolk, we stayed in the Explorer room on the 28th October and on first impressions the hosts are welcoming. Within 5 minutes of arriving we were met greeted and shown to our room the host asked if we required a table for dinner that evening and we did not as visiting family locally. Room The room was large spacious with a queen bed it was very comfortable. Extra blackest stored in room. The bathroom was large with a shower over the bath. Water pressure very good, nice and clean plenty of bathroom tissue and mini toiletries.. shampoo , body wash and lotion. Additional Iron and board Kettle and Nespresso machine Cups , spoons and coffee pot Nespresso coffee capsules, Tea , sugar and Creamer 2 bottles water still and carbonated Bedside lamp coffee table and local places of interest maps and brochures Wi-Fi code and Breakfast menu Television with multiple channels View from room As located in the Garden of the pub it was of the Garden area Entrance via the carpark with a porch entrance and two rooms one was the Explorer Room other rooms are via a staircase. Breakfast Omg amazing hats off to chef and staff it's worth the journey from Kent for this . Firstly Great value for money Staff again polite helpful and courteous confirming during the meal all was well. We both had an English breakfast. Huge plate of food wish I took a picture.. Eggs how you like Black pudding Mushrooms Baked beans 3 rashers of bacon A plump sausage Grilled tomatoes 2 slices of toast Condiments, butter , ketchup BBQ sauce etc All eaten in a quaint historical pub with a wealth of history and a stunning log fire. I also saw many board games on offer Next time we will be dinning and staying here it was perfect and 100 percent yes we will definitely stay here again lucky locals.

We stayed 3 nights at the Cherry Tree. Our room was comfortable and an excellent value. The included breakfast was delicious (full English among other choices) as were the two excellent dinners we had during our stay. The best part of the stay, however, was the landlord and staff, who were so nice and helpful. We give the Cherry Tree Inn/Pub our highest recommendation without hesitation.

The Broadside room is excellent, spacious, and clean. It's in a separate building near the back of the extensive, pleasant beer garden, and a sense of space. Dog friendly. Great pub interior, food, ale, and friendly staff. Recommended!

Went to this pub for first time today as visiting Woodbridge. The staff were lovely and the roast beef and chicken lunches were delicious. All good fresh food and the gravy was just the best I have ever tasted!

T his is the second time we have stayed at Cherry tree, we have had a lovely three days here.Our Accomadation was first glass coffee and tea hairdryer iron even ironing board. food was excellent the breakfast was delicious, I don’t normally have English breakfast three days but this was so nice just had to have it sausages were very nice all cooked fresh to order . We had 2 evening meals here ham and egg omelette and I think it was seafood dish that my husband had, egg and chips the second time and what a plateful you don’t go away hungry,Wine well we had to have a bottle reasonably priced and very nice. The staff are all very friendly greeted you with a warm welcome and smile. We will be back later on in the year we had a lovely stay.

Spent a night at the Cherry Tree Inn . On arrival hubby learnt that they were holding a Beer Festival, so he was happy from the get go . We decided to have an evening meal there as the ambience was friendly and buzzing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming , the evening meal and breakfast the following were superb . Accommodation was lovely - big room, comfy bed and resulted in a great nights sleep. The choice of beers were excellent ( better than Ely beers at our annual festivals) We learnt these were chosen by a lovely lady from the Cherry Tree . Hubby was very impressed with her choices .Such a lovely day spent in Woodbridge and can highly recommend the CT

We choose this place to celebrate my 50th Birthday at absolute random, and were not disappointed. It was full of old world charm while being modern in terms of food and drink selections. It was warm and inviting and catered for outside seating as well as indoor. Our room was the upstairs in a Barn in the gardens and was bright, clean, fresh and comfortable with a nice seating area as well as the very large bed. There was extra bedding, a fan, a coffee machine alongside a kettle and plenty of accessible power sockets. The staff were all friendly and cheerful and offered great advise on days out and where to go around the area. We will definitely be back, thank you for making my special few days so very special :-D

The Cherry Tree is the perfect spot to stay in Woodbridge. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with nice touches like a Nepresso machine. The location is perfect for the A12, the station, the Quay, and the centre of town. The pub itself was also really nice with a good menu, hearty meals, and friendly staff. The only downside was the mattress was very soft but that's personal preference.
