Good location. Easy to check in and out. Lots of baggies and trash cans plus grass areas for the dogs. There was a hint of cigarette smell when we checked in. Called front desk to make a note of it so don’t get charged.

i booked a room for one night here since my past experience more than 10 years ago was positive. the main reason i chose this place for my stay is the fully-equipped kitchen, as i prefer to bring my own fresh food. however, when i arrived, i had discovered that the kitchenette's cupboards were not stocked with any cookware, silverware, or dishes -- which completely defeated the purpose of having a stovetop. so i guess next time, i'm supposed to pack my own pots and pans!?! i don't think so. next time i am in this area i definitely will not be staying here.

Negative 7 stars, the wifi alone paid or unpaid is complete crap. oh and theres Fn roaches been here for 4 years and had nothing but horrible experiences here, so horrible, just so horrible. i feel sorry for all the managers ive seen manager after manager get replaced in a matter of months for one thing or another. theres no fixing the wifi it just keeps breaking constantly and you find yourself calling the tech support in which that experience alone is hell on earth, i hate and i mean hate talking to their tech support its completly horrible and i cant wait to move from this stupid place !

We've made a reservation at this hotel and received a confirmation a week before arrival. Our plan was to check in around 7 pm after a day of sightseeing around Los Angeles. At about 6:30 pm we received a call from the hotel saying that there is no room available and they had to cancel our reservation. They said that their system is based on "first come first serve" basis??? They did not offer any other solution for us. After a quick check on the internet, most hotels nearby are fully booked at that time or charge around $300 to $400 for a night of stay. We ended up driving home that night and had to cancel the rest of our trip the next day. I've called the hotel next day and talked to Manager Jennifer. She said this is normal practice at Extended Stay and I should of check in around 3 pm. What is the point of making a reservation? Can they at least give us a call before giving our room to someone else? I've never had experience like this at other hotel chain like Hilton or Marriot. I will never stay at Extended Stay of America again.

If I could leave negative stars, I would!! I had the most horrific experience with the night manager of this location, Jennifer that left me livid and out of character. My partner of nearly 11 years has been staying at this location since February. He has stage 4 cancer and I recently came there and had to take him to the hospital. He is now on hospice care and doesn’t have much longer to live. I came to the location with his brother in order to make sure his account was up to date and to gather some essential paperwork and belongings. I was met with callousness and absolutely no empathy from the manager. I had his key card, but it had been deactivated, so we could not get in. When we explained the situation she kept saying she couldn’t let us in and that we would need to get a notarized letter, signed by him, giving us permission to get his things. I explained AGAIN, he is in hospice and can’t even talk, let alone sign his name!!! When I said I had a copy of his ID and that his brother has his ID that shows they have the same last name, her response was that anyone can have the same last name and anyone can make an ID!!! Why would she believe that two random people would go to such lengths to get into someone’s room?! I said I have mail with his name, I even showed her a picture of him in the hospital!!! All she kept saying is, it’s a liability issue and that if he comes back it would be an issue. How do you fix your face to tell someone who is watching their loved one DIE, to say “if they come back”?!?! Her insensitivity was mind blowing. She said if we can’t get a notarized letter from him, then after he passes his estate can get it. When I asked what that meant, she kept repeating herself (not explaining) and then said “everybody dies”. We asked if we could know the status of his account to make sure it was current, and they wouldn’t even tell us that!! When I asked what happens when it doesn’t get paid, she says they take the things out of his room and hold it for 30 days. And after that? They THROW IT AWAY!!! Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds?? So you have no qualms about throwing someone’s belongings away, but GOD forbid you allow his family to get it and close out his account?! At this point I was beyond upset!! I asked for her name for when I contact corporate (at this point she wouldn’t even speak directly to me, she had gone to sit at her desk around the corner so I couldn’t even see her!) When I asked for her last name , she became snide and refused to give it to me asking what I needed it for. When I told her it was to report her to corporate, she started raising her voice. At this point, I was losing it and admittedly used some choice words at which point she began SHRIEKING at me to leave and she was going to call security!! She literally SCREAMED at me!!! HOW do you hire someone who has NO CONCEPT of what it is to deal with people and put them in a managerial position that literally deals with people?!!! I admit

The location right off of the 101 is easy to get to. FINALLY, a place that really gets it when it comes to guests with mobility issues. 4 bars in the shower/tub with a bottom that is not slippery. I was very pleased, definitely staying here again.

It has your basic needs. Bed, tv, bathroom, desk, kitchen. The room and the hallways are cleaned well daily.. The staff are very nice. There’s security so I feel safe. Its very close to Chick-fil-A, Ralphs, Subway, Target and etc. which is super convenient. There’s ample hand sanitizers which are a big plus in my book. Just remember to keep you mask on if your not in your room.

Nice clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. They were really helpful with my husband who is in a wheelchair. They made sure he could get in and out easily even if it meant coming around the counter and opening the second door for him.
