They cancelled my booking after trying to use my creditcard, which was out of service because the card was suspected of having been misused, so my bank blocked it for 24 hours as a precaution. They sent me a message at 10 am that my booking will be cancelled at noon when I didn't react... which was not possible on an international flight. So I arrived at the Sydney airport at 2:30 pm and the hotel cancelled my booking and sold my room. Wow. I worked for 20 years in hospitality by myself but I never saw something like this... Obviously they don't know how this business works. It's about communication and service and people. But if you cancel a booking during 2 hours, from a person, who arrives from another continent, then how don't understand your job. What a bad experience on my first day in Sydney after 24hours traveling. Who knows what I was spared.

I booked January 2023 for a stay at New Year this year. Booking for 3 rooms was confirmed. After 6 weeks they sent several messages in 2 days time that the rate was a mistake and they were going to charge 3x !! as much. When I answered that I wanted to ask *********** is they can do that, they cancelled my booking within 5 minutes. I complained with ***********, but they said they can’t do much about it. Terrible.

Good points; Newly appointed rooms were very well done with more lighting options than you could point a stick at. Clean and well maintained. Quiet location but only 20 mins walk to Opera House etc. Breakfast thrown in was good. Down side; Self closing room and corridor doors made a loud bang on closing unless controlled. Late night returning guests obviously not aware or didn't care and let doors slam. Guests above appeared to have pet elephants with them and didn't care about the door slamming either. Otherwise OK.

I stayed two nights at the Cozy M Hotel, the room we slept in was small and the bathroom was shared. Inside our room there was a sink which fortunately helped us not to use the shared one. Amazed at the breakfast the hotel offers: the donuts are good! Too bad the roof top is smoke-free, so you will have to leave the structure if you want to smoke. The staff is friendly and as regards the cleanliness of the rooms everything is fine, but it is not the same for the bathroom.

Lovely bed, clean room and bathroom facilities, nice projector with which you can project films/series on the wall and very affordable! We had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again next time.
