Place was nice on good location for going to watch the cricket 🏏 at the Gabba.

Check in was a nightmare No one was at reception. No reply on the phone. Waited 40 minutes for staff to arrive only to be told they had no record of my booking. Lucky I had a print out of the booking confirmation and its number and was eventually checked in. They wanted a copy of my identity documents and credit card and I went back down to reception 3 times in the next 2 days to supply them, but again reception was closed. Beds were hard and the sofa low and uncomfortable. Otherwise, OK.

Quiet and comfortable

Great apartments and great value for money. Cecelia at reception was lovely and could not have been more helpful. The apartment ( we had a one bedroom) was clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable. There is a bus stop outside so really good for the city and made the most of the 50c fares. There are also ammenities near the apartments like a Woolworths, some cafes etc. We were staying in the Gabba area for a wedding but would stay again when in Brisbane as so easy. Also had great wifi and Foxtel channels. Definitely a good find.

stinking hot day in Brisbane and the aircon in room had a sign on it saying that it was broken, nothing about that was mentioned at reception. rooftop pool and spa out of action due to repairs - nothing mentioned by reception.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional not to honour contracts with guests. If you mess up the booking systems, contact the guest directly by phone and offer suitable, comparable alternatives but don’t use the cowards way to send an email in the morning of the stay that you have cancelled the booking. If the guest does that, you charge the guest the night/stay. So where is my compensation as I had to find more expensive accommodation with more driving. Never again an option when I have to stay in Brisbane.

Convenient location as we were cruising the next day. Rooms are run down and could do with some TLC. Had to move from first room as smoke detectors had no batteries and wires exposed. Rooftop pool and spa very small. Close to Woolies and loads of restaurants.

Very disappointed with this accommodation. The Eastwood Apartments advertise that they are a new building however our apartment was extremely tired and definitely in need of an upgrade. These apartments are overpriced; the paint was on the walls was chipped and marked, furniture was marked and damaged, and the shower had hair in it. The location to The Gabba is good, and that is the only positive.

Had a booking to stay for 2 nights in room 302. Once we arrived, we were greeted by tradies removing the carpet from 3 floors due to water damage. There were industrial blowers on each of these floors, the lower part of the walls cut out to for airflow. The exposed concrete was sticky to walk on and smelt of glue and mildew. We went up to the roof to have a look at the pool and spa. Yes, great view, but the water was green. We finally got to the apartment and the linen was clean, but the carpets and upholstery looked and felt dirty, visible stains and scorch marks throughout the living area. Great location, but just not up to scratch for the prices charged. Was surprised we were not put on another floor due to the water damage. My friend and I have had bad chesty coughs since staying there. Never again.
