Diglis House Hotel

Great hotel, fabulous waterfront location with great service by staff. Breakfast was wonderful, great selection and tasty food. . Had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant

We have eaten here on a number of occasions but never stayed until yesterday, and what a delightful experience it was considering the very hot weather the staff were able to remain calm and professional. Our dinner of local lamb and Hake was of a very high standard and breakfast was also a delight with a substantial buffet and sizeable portion English Breakfast. I would highly recommend a visit.

We booked a feature double with breakfast for a 2 night stay on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. The hotel was well sign posted & we were able to easily park. The house is beautifully decorated & the staff welcoming & attentive. We were very pleased with our room. It was very hot (bank holiday heatwave) so the windows had been opened & a fan on to try to cool it down a little. The room was clean & the bed very comfortable. The newly renovated patio area was lovely & there was even an area reserved for residents which was great on such a busy weekend. It was lovely to enjoy a few drinks there in the sunshine. The location looking out over the river is just beautiful. The breakfast room is nicely decorated & the breakfast itself was nice with some good options. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

My husband and I thought the hotel was reasonably priced, the room and bathroom were a good size, had a bath and the bedroom had a lovely view from the window. When I spoke to housekeeping about the dusty extractor fan they sorted it out immediately. The staff were accommodating, attentive and friendly. Free parking was great to have as we were close to the centre. The breakfast had lots of choice and was very well cooked and presented. A lovely stay and would definitely recommend to others.

We booked the Diglis for our wedding. It was simply the best place to celebrate our special day. The staff were incredible, they thought of absolutely everything, and they were so helpful and kind! A special thank you to Megan, without whom our day wouldn’t exist, she was absolutely incredible. The venue was exactly how we imagined it, our room was super cosy. Even with the poor weather we managed to take perfect pictures since the hotel is located in such a lovely place near the river. Simply thank you to everyone that helped us for this incredible wedding weekend!

Lovely place to stay. Can recommend room 23 as it has wonderful views of the river. Great choice for breakfast and friendly staff.

Just back from a 2 night stay which was a late celebration for my birthday. Superb view from our room. Very comfortable bed. Lovely staff throughout. Fabulous freshly cooked breakfast each day with a good selection on offer. The dinner was excellent, highly recommend the haddock and chips Thank you

Just returning from a three night stay at the Diglis House, with a racing syn’d group, had to change rooms as I had added an extra night for myself due to travelling time involved. An enjoyable experience, that we all agreed in. It’s in a decent location, only a ten minute walk to town, set in an ideal spot on the bank of the river Severn making it a great place to enjoy a drink or three. We eat out in the evenings, but found the breakfast to be excellent, good choice, well prepared, no complaints at all. Staff in general seemed to be cheerful and helpful, despite the extremely hot conditions that they had to work in, which would have been very uncomfortable for them. The only drawback was the lack of aircon in the rooms (we knew before) which made the rooms extremely uncomfortable, despite sleeping naked on top of the bed, and utilising two fans, it wasn’t great. As a group, and individually, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, and I hope we are able to at some point.

Had lunch on the veranda overlooking the river on a beautiful sunny da We ordered tuna baguettes and was ver disappointed. They looked like the part part baked ones you buy. They had no colour and very soft. Not like a lovely crispy baguette I expected. Wished I said something
