First off, I want to say that the housekeeping department was wonderful. They were not only great cleaners but they were also very thoughtful about checking when we would be out of the room during the day if they happened to show up when we were there. A few other things that were great about the hotel: the spectacular location (it's near so many great restaurants in a very walkable area), the big empty swimming pool with a view of the city, the generosity with face masks, and all staff seemed well trained in hospitality... So it breaks my heart that our arrival at the hotel so completely marred our stay. When my kids and I walked into the hotel one of the staff--I'm afraid I didn't catch her name in my shock, but I believe she was the manager on duty--grabbed a handful of gloves and handed them to us as we were still struggling to pull out all the green codes required of us (we were told to show two codes initially and then later would go through many more codes in a quest to see which would be accepted). She started the conversation by asking if we were leaving and when we said we were checking in, she asked to see the tracing app and immediately declared all the places we had been to as dangerous (the app was green and there were no asterisks at that point, I would later gain an asterisk thanks to being in Wuhan). They were not. We had travelled carefully, tracking the news of outbreaks and did our best to avoid all dangerous locations and crowds. We explained this to her and walked her through every place on our trip that we had been, but she refused to accept any of this. She kept insisting everywhere we had been was dangerous. It didn't matter to her how many green codes we had. We were foreigners that had come to Wuhan from a city in Jiangsu, taking a route that travelled near provinces where there were COVID-19 cases, and that meant we were dangerous. I want to be sympathetic. People in Wuhan had a much worse 2020 than anyone else in China. I can only imagine how terrifying it must be to have another significant outbreak a year later (we further had the bad luck of arriving in Wuhan on the same day as new cases). The hotel staff gave us a free fruit plate and they gave my daughter a stuffed animal, which she adored. But I was also travelling alone with two kids who were so traumatized by the experience (they were worried that we would be taken to a hospital or quarantine center and separated for who-knows-how-long) that they initially refused to eat dinner and still talk about the experience a week later (it didn't help that they noticed a Chinese guest arrive and check in without a face mask while we were still being interrogated with gloves and masks on and waited for a doctor to come and clear us). When the kids finally did decide they would eat, so long as we didn't leave the hotel, we discovered there was no longer ocean fish or seafood on the menu because of the virus which was interesting because we would find plenty of places outside the hotel that still offered salmon. Later when we tried to go to the Thai restaurant in the ball, we were told it was not open to us because of COVID-19 restrictions even though two lovely ladies who looked shocked to see us in the elevator were welcomed in. I assume there was some small private engagement or meeting that wasn't open to the public as there was no information anywhere that said the hotel restaurant was closed to the public. So I am divided on my feelings on this hotel. I want to believe it is a well run hotel and we were just unlucky to arrive on the wrong day. I can't really see myself staying here again if I return to Wuhan. My kids and I didn't really feel welcome here.

Location: The hotel is a European style building similar to a triangular column, the location is OK, in the seat of the city center, in the old city street. Transportation: Convenient transportation, there are several bus stops on the side, about 20 minutes walk from the tourist bus, about 10 minutes walk from the subway Jianghan Road Station, no rain without a large suitcase, walking is good. Food: On the edge is the snack street and the old town street, a variety of time-honored snacks, etc., a few hundred meters walk is Jianghan Road and other pedestrian streets. Attractions: Opposite is the art museum, you can go shopping if you like, and then walk for 20 minutes to the river beach. Facilities: Washing is open, different from person to person, two people live without interruption, that is, the shower door has a little slit, there will be a little cold in winter, the air conditioning heating is not strong, the disposable toothbrush is weird, the surrounding old community is renovated, there will be sound relatively, sensitive to sound, Just watch it. Service: When you check in, if you have any questions, you can ask the front desk at one time, and you can give answers or suggestions. There is coffee in the package. After paying attention to the public number, you can get the coupon. It is very convenient. You can drink at the front desk at any time. Hygienic: Every day when you go out, you will hang the cleaning card on the door handle outside the door. When you come back at night, the room will be cleaned. Overall it is good, check out and send sachets, there are various postcards and other small things at the front desk, that is, get off the elevator to the hotel, there are three steps in front of the door, if you have a large suitcase, it is a bit inconvenient, you need to lift it yourself, because recently the surrounding area is renovating the house and road, You need to pay attention to safety when you walk through the back community, and 2024 should be renovated.

The hotel's environment, sanitation, services, breakfast, and travel are really all-inclusive! ! ! ! ! The hotel is in an excellent location and can directly cover internet celebrity check-in attractions + dining: less than 100 meters away is the ”Bagong House” where internet celebrities check-in. It must be mentioned that the ”Hankou No. 2 Factory” soda at the intersection of Bagong House is very delicious, 8 It’s not expensive. Just walk 50 meters to Wuhan locals’ “Three Towns for People’s Livelihood”. Don’t over-interpret the blogger’s premature recommendation. It’s better to take a taxi to travel far than to experience the locals’ “Three Towns” collection. Town people's livelihood ”Three fresh bean curds, fried buns, and hot dry noodles are the best!” Speaking of which, 2 meters across from Sanzhen is the famous ”Liu Yihu” lotus root noodles, and next door is the ”Chicken Crown Dumplings” and ”Glutinous Rice Chicken” which are so delicious! ! ! When you go out of the hotel, turn right and go up the steps 5 meters to the river beach. In short, this is the best hotel choice for eating, drinking and staying on Lihuangpi Road! ! ! The front desk service was very heart-warming. When I learned that I had to catch an early flight, I contacted the kitchen to prepare a takeaway breakfast. It was like a family! Give Fanxiang Hotel a thumbs up~ This trip, the beautiful Wuhan cruise ship, and the loving Wuhan citizens, I will go there often~

Yunshang Cinema Boutique Apartment (Wuhan Jianghan Road Subway Station)

Yanjiang Avenue /Jianghan Road Wuhan|0.78km from Hankou Telephone Bureau Former Site
What I like: The room is spacious and clean, and the two double beds are so kind for us traveling with children! Just around the corner from the apartment building is the pedestrian street, which is very convenient for travel and dining! The room was much more spacious than the Home Inn we changed to the next day, and the hygiene was better than that! Facilities: projection screen, two double beds, bathroom (slightly rudimentary, the basin is small and inconvenient, and the wet and dry are not separated), washing machine (not used), small refrigerator (not used), WiFi, and slippers. Hygiene: Very clean, it can be seen that it has been cleaned carefully, and there are no bugs or obvious stains. Environment: The pedestrian street itself is in the old city, and there is a large flow of people. It was raining on the day we arrived, and the streets were dirty and messy. Taxis could not get downstairs. Fortunately, the drop-off point was not far away, and it took a few minutes to walk to the apartment building. It is a mixed-use hotel, so the people going up and downstairs were a bit chaotic. There were two tattoo shops and a nail salon next to the room we stayed in, but we didn't hear any noise when we were in the room, and it was fairly quiet. Because I have two children of my own, I was a little nervous when I saw this kind of environment. I even pulled the clothes hanger to the door to block it before going to bed at night, but it is actually quite safe. I think if there are adult men traveling with me, It should make you feel more at ease. Service: Although it is an unattended apartment, the boss is very enthusiastic. He called me to arrange check-in before I arrived in Wuhan. Before getting the door code, you need to pay a deposit of 200 yuan. At first, I felt it was not used to it and I was afraid of being cheated. Later, a hotel I stayed in on the last day also charged it, so it must be a Wuhan regulation? Anyway, the boss refunded it to me as soon as I checked out.

The location of the homestay is really great, just in Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, it is a lively commercial district when you go out. It is super convenient to go anywhere, saving time and effort. The landlord’s service is very intimate, all aspects are very thoughtful, living here makes me feel like going home. The room has all kinds of facilities, the fireplace, projector, and ambiance lights are very good, especially the projector, the effect is amazing, watching movies is like in a cinema. I spent a lot of time watching movies in the room and the experience was great.  The decoration of the room is very exquisite and warm, and the details of the layout are all revealed. Various decorative paintings and decorations are eye-catching. Living here can definitely make a blockbuster, and it has been recommended to my girlfriends to take pictures. The location of the homestay is in the city center and it is super convenient to travel. You can walk to the fireworks lane and there are many choices. It is also very pleasant to walk on Jianghan Road at night. There is no shortage of food, drink and fun The landlord's service attitude is really very good, all kinds of requirements are met as much as possible, and the reply is very timely. Let me feel the sincerity of them treating every guest as a palm treasure.
