The hotel was located pretty close to the tongji medical school campus, which was convenient for us because we had to go there. There’s also a pretty large street with everything you need, including convenience stores, lots of street food and restaurants and cafes. The other parts of Wuhan take a little bit longer to reach, depending on where you want to go. It might take up to an hour to get to the area around Yellow Crane tower, as the metro is also a little walk of 15min away from the hotel.
The staff was friendly, and tried to communicate with us even tho they weren’t fluent in Englisch.
The rooms were average and have everything you need. It seemed like the ventilation in the bathroom didn’t work properly so it can get really steamy during a shower. But maybe it was a fault on our part.
The beds were a little less comfortable than we expected; the mattresses are quite hard and sometimes really uncomfortable.
There’s a possibility to wash your clothing but there’s only one to two laundry machines and one dryer, so you might have to wait.
The breakfast was fine, fresh fruit and hot food and toast was available.
All in all for the low price an okay stay, wished the mattresses were a little more comfortable tho.
