Environment: When I traveled to Wuhan, I did a lot of research and compared many hotels before choosing this one. It had high ratings and reviews, but here's my actual experience. The location is in Wuhan's city center, in an apartment/office building. The surrounding area consists of old residential communities and the Wansongyuan snack street. It's relatively convenient for getting around, but the surrounding environment is a bit dirty and messy.
Facilities: This hotel apartment is a proper two-bedroom, one-living-room unit, complete with a bathroom and kitchen. The basic facilities in the room are quite comprehensive, as shown in the pictures below.
Service: The service was good. The housekeeper managing this hotel also lives in the building and actively addressed any needs we had. However, the first room we checked into on the first day had quite a few issues, but there were no other available rooms to switch to at the time. They moved us to another room on the second day. In the first room, the mattress wasn't great, the living room sofa was caved in, and a bedroom door had a problem, making noise all night, so I didn't sleep well on the first night. Nevertheless, the housekeeper was quite proactive in resolving issues; for instance, when there wasn't a table for my child to do homework, the housekeeper specially brought up a table and chair. The room they moved us to on the second day is the one shown in the pictures below.
Hygiene: The mattresses in the second room were much better to sleep on. However, the bed sheets had issues as detailed below, the sofa also had some unclear stains, and behind the faucet in the bathroom sink was quite dirty. When I tried to take a bath in the evening and put on a disposable tub liner, I saw the scene shown in pictures five or six, which instantly put me off and ruined my mood.
When I travel, what I care most about is hygiene, as my child is prone to allergies, so I have higher demands for cleanliness. Also, I felt that the pictures in the guides made it look newer and more upscale, but in reality, many parts were quite old and worn.
