Diamond Star Hotel Caka Salt Lake

The environment is great, and you can enter the park to take photos and check in by yourself. The owner upgraded us to a starlit room, which was a very unique experience.

We ended up staying at the Shadow Lake Diamond Hotel within the Chaka Sky No. 1 Scenic Area, and I was incredibly satisfied – I'd even say pleasantly surprised! The hotel is located inside the scenic area, and the wooden cabins are very comfortable with unique designs. You can watch the sunrise and sunset right from the hotel entrance. In the morning, you can walk to the scenic train's Stations 4 and 5, and even do a loop around the core scenic area. If you have shoe covers, you could probably even walk into the lake. The environment here is exceptional, with wetlands, mountains, and water birds. Staying at the hotel includes free admission to the scenic area, and there are discounts on packages for the floating spa, which even includes a free swimsuit. We tried the brine float and it was really interesting. I really wish we could have stayed an extra day to experience more sunrises and sunsets, take more photos of the birds, and enjoy the windmills.

The room was small, but well-equipped and clean. The service was excellent. A worthwhile stay.

The hotel is located inside the Chaka Sky One Scenic Area. It was drizzling the day we arrived, so we relaxed in our room all afternoon before heading out to see the sights and have dinner. The scenery was quite nice, and the overwater bungalows were a unique feature.

A must-visit when you're in Chaka is the 'Mirror of the Sky' – it's breathtaking! Huge thanks to the kind and helpful staff at the hotel; they not only upgraded my room but also assisted with purchasing tickets for the 'Mirror of the Sky.' Their service was incredibly thoughtful!

The sunset was absolutely stunning, and the kids had a blast boating. Dinner was delicious with fresh ingredients.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Sky One scenic area, and the rooms are built over the salt lake, making it super convenient for watching the sunset. There's a restaurant right next to the hotel, which is handy, or you can easily head into town for more dining options.
