This was my first time visiting Mount Wutai, and I specially chose this B&B online, which is located in the center of the scenic area and very close to Guangming Temple. When we arrived at the site, we found that the hotel room was very spacious, the bedding was very clean, the bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, there was plenty of hot water, and there was floor heating at night. The owner of this B&B was very warm and thoughtful. He drove to pick us up as soon as we got off the bus. The next day, when we finished our tour, we made a phone call and someone was sent to deliver our luggage to the bus station in the scenic area. move! grateful!

Originally set up the next homestay, after this house, I went in and looked at it. I decisively changed the room to his house. I can see that the operation is very careful. The sister at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The hotel is clean and tidy. There is a small bay window for tea in the room. It feels good. The room is spacious. Check-in also sent a special wash bag for children, and the peace sign of Wuye Temple, haha, full of surprises!

I always change B&Bs every time I visit Mount Wutai, and as someone who loves cleanliness, I'll definitely stay here again! Located near Guanyin Temple, the hotel exudes a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are simply elegantly decorated, with wooden accents and traditional Chinese design creating a warm and comfortable feel.
What really surprised me was the hotel's hand-beading and sutra-copying activities. The beading program provided a variety of materials, allowing users to create their own unique bracelets, which was incredibly fun. The sutra-copying program provided a moment of peace amidst my busy life, allowing me to relax and purify my soul.
The service was also very attentive. The staff were warm and friendly, always smiling, making me feel right at home. The included breakfast was quite generous for the area.
Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. I was very satisfied with both the ambiance and the service. đ

AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple âsatisfactionâ or âdissatisfactionâ to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.
Looking forward to seeing you next time~

GGuest UserThank you to the young owners and their parents for their hospitality during our short stay - for transporting my parents and I to and from restaurants for our meals and dropping us off at the main tourist attraction. Also special thanks to the éżĺ§¨ for the delicious breakfast, her homemade mantou and pickles. Mrs Han was so generous in also helping us heat up leftovers takeaway from lunch for our dinner. The beds were comfortable. Initially the room was too warm but the young Mr Han helped to sort out the floor heating and heater so that the room was more comfortable. The recommended driver, Mr An, was very good, who brought us safely to Pingan.

The room is fully equipped, the independent partition of the bathroom is very reasonable and practical, all small details are well served, and the staff at the B&B are attentive, warm, and very good.
The three vegetarian meals provided by the B&B are so refreshing and delicious that I donât want to eat out every day. I stayed for three days and had enough to eat for three days. It was a satisfying experience, healthy eating, and I drank tea and chatted in the tea room when I had nothing to do. The warm atmosphere and happy mood...
The inn's general manager Yinyin's service is attentive, enthusiastic and meticulous, the tea artist is very professional, the kitchen chef produces stable and good products, and the thoughtful desserts every night are very warm and thoughtful...

GGuest UserWholeheartedly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable, with really modern showers/barhrooms.
Additionally - the real highlight - Liu Kaidi couldnât have been more helpful in helping to organize our trip with us. Amongst other things she: answered all of our questions we had about our hike around Mount Wutai, gave us a route and map, was extremely responsive on WeChat throughout our time in the area. She also allowed us to leave bags during our hike free of charge, helped us book and catch our bus to Taiyuan, arranged our bus to the East Terrace at 3.30am at the start of our hike (waking us up) and gave us a fantastic food recommendation for dinner (even walking us to the restaurant).
Our stay would not have even the same without her help and we are so grateful. I wouldnât stay anywhere else if I came to the area.

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from ćŽĺ寺 stop to ĺč°čˇŻĺŁ stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (ć¸
ĺ寺ďźéé寺, 獚ć寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotlessâso clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice âsuch a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tipâwalking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, thereâs no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, youâll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and Iâd definitely recommend this place!

SSolo Traveler BainIt was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. They provided anything I needed including heater, laundry service, help with the taxi booking and so many other things.
They even allowed me to stay the lobby to work on my project on my laptop when I had to check out and there were no places to work.
Location is nice, right next to restaurants and not far from main temples.
If you need help with climbing up all five peaks or just book a bus ticket, they will happily assist you.
Also, if you donât speak Chinese, itâs fine as long as you use a translator. It might be a small challenge but overall communication was possible.
For a solo traveler, this was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!
