Wuxi Taiyue Resort Hotel (Nianhuawan Lingshan Giant Buddha)

This hotel is so bad it's impossible not to write a terrible review. There was an unpleasant smell as soon as I entered the hallway, probably because the floor hadn't been cleaned in a long time. My child kept saying it smelled awful. Our room was at the very end, about a 10-minute walk from the lobby. The room had a very strong musty smell, as if it hadn't been used in a long time and was hastily cleaned for guests during the National Day holiday. The facilities were old, which was bad enough, but the room felt completely neglected and dirty. There were also many cigarette butts on the stones on the balcony – a complete disaster. Since I booked two nights, I told the manager and changed rooms. The musty smell was slightly better, but the overall cleanliness was still appalling; only the bed seemed somewhat clean. We came back late at night, and the hot water took a very, very long time to come out; it took 5-10 minutes to get even a little warm water. The maintenance worker arrived and said they would start heating the water after 12 PM, suggesting I either shower earlier or notify the hotel in advance. I was completely stunned by this explanation. Located near Nianhua Bay, it's called a resort hotel, but it lacks any resort facilities: the pool and children's playground were closed, and there were no other amenities nearby. The overall feeling was one of dilapidation and desolation. I really don't know how Ctrip rated it, and I've begun to doubt their rating system. Strongly avoid this hotel! It's the most outrageous hotel I've stayed in in recent years!!!

This is a scenic hotel with both advantages and disadvantages. 🍁Environment: The hotel is located in Mashan, Binhu District, Wuxi. It faces west and east, facing the Qili Scenic Dike and the vast Taihu Lake to the west, with beautiful scenery. The hotel is integrated with the resort, and the scale is large. The utilization rate may not be high. A large number of venues are neglected and the maintenance is not enough. The environment in the park looks depressed and dilapidated. 🍂Facilities: Because it was built earlier, the guest room facilities are outdated, such as small and old TV screens, lack of intelligent guest control systems, and low bedside sockets. 🍀Service: The hotel may be the largest hotel near Nianhua Bay and Lingshan Buddha, but after all, there is still a distance. For guests who do not drive, it would be more attractive if a scheduled shuttle bus can be provided. 🌺On the whole, it is found that the hotel’s occupancy rate is currently high only on weekends, and it is significantly reduced on weekdays. It does not reflect and play the hotel’s holiday function. There are still many articles to do, such as more abundant catering, entertainment activities, health care projects, and convenient transportation.
