The hotel is right on the Taihu Lake. Yuántóuzhǔ is close to the hotel and is an excellent choice for those who would like to visit Yuántóuzhǔ, particularly during the Cherry Blossom Season. The room we stayed was recently renovated, spacious and clean.

Pretty good location for the scenic spots, but not a lot of places to eat in the area.
Beautiful view from the hotel.

Really helpful and attentive staff - reception is quick and helpful and the rooms are serviced daily. Good location with balconies overlooking the lake and easy access to the lakefront area, as well as nearby parks and mountain day walks. There is a downstairs area with a large pool table and similar entertainments.
On the downside, we didn't find any shops nearby (walking distance) except for small convenience stores with limited supplies. The hotel restuarant wasn't open when we went looking and our room had clearly been used by a smoker (even though we booked a non-smoking room).
