Location: The hotel entrance has a pharmacy, and to the left, there's a delicious noodle shop. Just a few more steps is a bus stop. To the right, down an alley, you'll find a 'Guang Bing' (a local pastry) shop and home-style stir-fries. It's not too far to walk to the Impression Dahongpao theater; it's a pleasant stroll after dinner to help with digestion. After the show, there are several cozy bars on the way back to the hotel, perfect for a nightcap. All in all, the hotel's location is excellent.
Service: You can really tell the hotel prioritizes service management. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties I encountered were very welcoming. A special shout-out to the young lady on duty at 4 AM on November 21st (I don't remember her name) – she went to the staff休息室 (staff lounge) to get her own sanitary pad for me in an emergency. I was truly touched, and I hope the hotel management recognizes her for it 👍.
Room Advantages: I booked the most basic twin room. The room wasn't small. I initially thought about upgrading because of the 'inner window' note, but it turned out not to be the cramped, wall-blocked type I imagined. The window faced the hotel's circular interior, which actually made it quieter since it wasn't street-facing, and it didn't affect ventilation at all. It also had smart devices, electric curtains, a mini-bar, and more.
Issues Encountered: The faint blue light from the vanity mirror's power indicator shone directly at the bed after the lights were off, which was a bit bothersome for a light sleeper not wearing an eye mask. The showerhead dripped, and I had to place it on the floor to stop hearing it. The trash can's placement was inconvenient and not user-friendly; I suggest moving it closer to the sink area.
