Wuyishan Ancient Street No. 3 Tea Hotel

Room was comfortably big for 2 with a lot of walking space, and a decent view for tea drinking (doubles as a comfortable table for take-out dinner). Some of the furnishings feel older and/or can be improved, especially the bed headframe (had old worn-out markings) and waterproofing for the shower area (kept leaking out and pooling in the sink area). Though, we did have a good sleep with comfortable bedding. With a ctrip (携程) membership we are also able to access many shows on demand, making it a great way to spend time indoors especially during rainy weather. There is no lift, but props to the front counter for helping to bring our heavy luggage up to the 3rd floor thus saving us a lot of trouble. The best part of this stay is probably its location -- right at the heart of the Wuyishan main tourist area and an easy walk/short bus ride away from the mountain itself.

It’s great in location and hotel condition. The staff is friendly and willing to help. There’s a free sweet soup every night.

A bit pricey for China hotels but is worth it. Very spacious with self service laundry machine. In Sangu tourist area with lots of eateries.
