I recommend this place for it's location, price and friendly owner.
Location: Very close to bamboo raft starting point, also very close to baiyun temple. I left the motel at 5 am and was able to catch the sunrise at 6 am on top of baiyun temple.
Price: I paid a little over 100
Owner: If you are a tea enthusiast and speak mandarin or travel with a friend that speaks mandarin, you will really enjoy talking to the owner. She served me tea from her own tea plantation and taught me about many different varieties of tea from Wuyi mountain.
However, if you are a cleanliness freak, don't stay here, there may or may not be creepy crawlies in corners.
