Manqigu Hotel

We had an awesome stay at the hotel, it was clean, modern and had everything we needed. The view from the window was directly at the mountain and looked awe inspiring. The street in front is beautiful and pedestrian-only so no car noises. The hotel is right next to the main food street with great restaurants and shops and is also within walking distance of the Wuyishan Scenic area. The owners are the best. They are super friendly, hospitable, helped us out a ton, gave great recommendations and were fun to chat to. We are english speakers and talking to them was fine even without a translator. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel – clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The staff are professional and attentive, everything runs smoothly. A special highlight is the dedicated tea space – a calm, well-designed area perfect for slowing down and enjoying tea in a proper atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

25 meters of semi rock pavement, a bit discomforting to walk to hotel with your luggage, hopefully you are prepared. The washing mashine can only wash, one option only, so you have to dry it yourself

I was initially drawn to the hotel by its name, but what I liked even more was its interior design. It's themed around Zen and tea culture, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the room facing Dawang Peak and the Chongxi Trail. The stay was very comfortable and I slept well. The location is also excellent — it's very close to the Sanggu Food Street and surrounded by plenty of snack shops. It's also near the Wuyi Palace scenic area. The guesthouse owner was very hospitable. In addition to offering free high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off service, he also arranged for Mr. You to drive us to the bamboo raft center, and even helped us book the bamboo rafting, the scenic shuttle bus, and tickets for the Impression Dahongpao show. It saved us a lot of trouble — so thoughtful! Overall, it’s a fantastic experience in Wuyishan, with the stay in the hotel of great value for money and services. Highly recommended and hope to come back one day.
