Zhoujia Shanfang Family Hostel

This hotel is beautiful and the location is excellent. Right next to the wuyi palace, where there's also a busstop to go into the park. Make sure you have tickets first! (They can be bought at the ticket booth at the south entrance to the park). From the hotel you can walk across the river to the best part of town, within 10 minutes. There you have shops and restaurants. The owner is the kindest, although she didn't speak English she took time with me to figure things out. Breakfast is chinese, one of the best I've had. Room is great, even had a balcony. Cool airco, tv, and a boiler. My only recommendation to the host is to clean a bit more. There were some hairs on the bathroom floor and some stains.

Good location about 10-minute walk from Wuyi Palace (central point for shuttle buses in Wuyishan). Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well. Wi-Fi worked well. Staff were very friendly. Tips for Wuyishan: Allow at least two days. There’s a lot to visit and see. Do some of the hikes between scenic spots. There will be fewer crowds. Book the river raft cruise in the morning. It can sell out in the afternoon , plus it’s a little cooler in the morning. Definitely visit Huxiao Cliff. The view is amazing. See pics 6&7. Yixiantian has two sides to visit. The right side is the most popular, and wait time can be hours. Go very early and/or try the left side. If you want to snap a photo of Yunu Peak without all of the tourist rafts (like pic 3), go there around 12:30-13:00. The raft rides stop for lunch. Or go early morning or just before closing. Climbing Tianyou also provides good views.
