We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

👍👍👍 I had a wonderful stay at Tongmu Youmingju Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tongmu area. The homestay is located in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting, surrounded by mountains and forest. One of my favorite experiences was enjoying excellent local tea while sitting right next to the river, breathing the fresh mountain air and listening to the sound of the water. It is the perfect place to relax and experience the authentic atmosphere of Tongmu. The hosts are exceptionally kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything. They made me feel like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. The homemade food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. It was some of the best local food I had during my trip. As a tea enthusiast, I especially appreciated staying with a family that truly understands the local tea culture. Their knowledge and hospitality made my visit even more memorable. I genuinely enjoyed every day of my stay and was sad to leave. I will definitely come back, and from now on this will be my permanent place to stay whenever I visit the Wuyishan and Tongmu area. Thank you for your warm hospitality. Traveling to Wuyishan with my child this time, I specifically chose the Chunbo Hotel. Its location is super convenient, very close to both the South Gate scenic area and Sangu Old Street. The hotel's green environment is also incredibly beautiful. It was just me and my child, so we picked the Quiet Twin Room. The room was spacious, but if you have a larger group, you could opt for a villa, which offers an even more comfortable setting. The hotel restaurant's food was absolutely delicious; I tried breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even the late-night barbecue – perfect for someone like me who doesn't want to venture out for meals! To get to Sangu Old Street, you can go through Gate No. 5 of the hotel, and their shuttle service is available on demand, which is extremely convenient! The swimming pool at the hotel has crystal-clear water, suitable for both adults and children. My stay at Chunbo this time was truly excellent!

Whether you're already passionate about tea or just starting your journey, Buzhichun is the perfect place to stay in Wuyishan — a city deeply rooted in tea culture. The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room. On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests. The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind. What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests. Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home. A delightful surprise during my trip to Wuyi Mountain! Guanlan Shuyuan is nestled along the Chongyang Stream, offering breathtaking views of lush mountains and clear waters right from the window. The designer villa style is incredibly photogenic, and the private balcony is perfect for enjoying tea and the scenery. The whole-house smart system is super convenient. The bedding was so soft, I had a great night's sleep. Housekeeper Xiao Chen was very attentive and even brought welcome fruits. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuyi!

We received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to scenic spots, and shopping is incredibly convenient nearby. It has its own parking lot, making it great for those traveling by car. The front desk lady was very warm, attentive, and helpful, answering all my questions and even upgrading my room for free. The room was very spacious, clean, and odorless, and the air conditioning was quiet, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast was also rich and satisfying! I'll definitely choose Baina Hotel again if I come back to Wuyishan.

Pros: The location is excellent. You can take a direct bus from North Station to Lantang Station, and after getting off, the entrance is just 100 meters ahead. When sightseeing, Wuyi Palace is a short walk from the hotel's main entrance. From the Wuyi Palace stop, you can catch the scenic bus which takes you to all the attractions, making it incredibly convenient. Staying here eliminates the need for repeated taxi rides. The scenery is beautiful; if it rains, the misty Dawang Peak is absolutely stunning. The staff are simple, yet professional. Cons: The hairdryer kept cutting out after a short while, which was very inconvenient for women with long hair. If this bothers you, I recommend bringing your own hairdryer.

This hotel deserves a five-star review! My trip to Wuyishan was made so comfortable and hassle-free by Jinjiang Metropolo, it completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel has a free tea room on the ground floor, so you can sit down and enjoy tea anytime after checking in. The authentic Wuyi rock tea has a rich aroma. Brewing a pot during leisure time helps shed the fatigue of travel and allows for an immersive experience of the local tea culture – it was truly delightful. The staff provided incredibly attentive service. They proactively helped plan my travel itinerary, clearly outlining the order of attractions and transportation methods. They also accurately recommended authentic local restaurants frequented by locals, helping me avoid tourist traps and enjoy delicious, affordable meals, completely solving any dining dilemmas during my trip. The Da Hong Pao tea sold at the hotel is of superior quality. After trying it, I immediately bought some. It's perfect for personal consumption or as a gift, with guaranteed authenticity, so there's no need to bother searching for specialty stores. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The hotel's location is close to both the scenic area and the old street, making getting around very convenient. The entire experience was excellent, with thoughtful service and a rich tea culture atmosphere. This is definitely my top choice for a trip to Wuyishan, and I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it to all tea lovers and travelers!
