"Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. The rooms are large, comfortable and practical, with lovely views of the river. The bathrooms are especially nice, with large bathtubs. Breakfast is varied, with an excellent range of delicious food. The staff are extremely polite and helpful: they were able to check me in even at 3:00am after I arrived on the night train. The cleaners are quick, thorough and efficient, too. The staff provide thoughtful gifts like free oranges for Spring Festival. The hotel is well located for getting around Wuzhou, and all the taxi drivers know it. There seems to be lots to do within the hotel, too, including restaurants, a spa, a KTV lounge, a tea house and a swimming pool, so it would be excellent for large groups too."

"I rarely write hotel reviews, but this one is truly worthwhile! There was a minor hiccup during my stay, but it was resolved incredibly quickly! Service: The front desk staff made me feel right at home; they were very kind and responsive. They always resolved guests' issues quickly. Facilities: There's a swimming pool, tennis court, a huge parking lot with charging stations, perfect for those with a car. Environment: It seems to be a renovated older hotel, very luxurious. The room design is also very practical; you can easily reach a towel after showering, which I really appreciated – a thoughtful touch. Cleanliness: Deserves 100 points; I couldn't find a single fault."

Even though we couldn’t directly communicate with the staff because of the language barrier, we could still understand each other thanks to the apps of translation and the staff was lovely with us, they even helped us to book a taxi for our departure to go to the train station. If I had to come back to Wuzhou, I’d go to this hotel again. The rooms were also spacious and clean"

"I've booked with Vienna Hotel countless times, and usually, they're great. But I never expected such a bizarre experience in Wuzhou. When we entered, the front desk was crowded with people chatting. They clearly saw us walk in but no one paid attention. We had to loudly ask, 'Is anyone checking people in?' Still, no one responded. After a while, a Mr./Ms. Li finally ambled out, with a terrible attitude. I explained that while we'd booked for one night, we'd extend for a week if we liked the place. Then we got to the room, and half of the window looked like it was smeared with paste, making the room dim and murky. I didn't even want to bother complaining since we'd only booked for one day. What was even more frustrating was that it was right on the street, and the constant traffic noise went on all night – I couldn't sleep a wink. We immediately checked out and booked Venus Hotel for a similar price. It was a thousand times better – a 17th-floor river view room, 48 square meters, absolutely delightful. The staff there were so professional; we arrived early, and they even helped reserve a room on the highest floor and promised to notify us when it was ready. It just goes to show, comparison truly reveals the flaws. I don't know how Vienna Hotel manages or trains its staff; they are incredibly unprofessional."
