My mum and I stayed here for a week and are leaving tomorrow had an absolutely wonderful time. Finding a bit of luxury near Alicante was initially a struggle but we found this gem and were very happy with our experience! Our room was stunningly decorated, beautiful and very clean (the website is a little confusing as it calls the top tier suite “Doble Jardin” - the same as the bottom tier room, which I think is an error). We had the suite and it was incredibly spacious, bed was enormous and the hotel were more than happy to set up an additional bed for me. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and as it’s a boutique type hotel you’ll interact with the same members of staff throughout your stay which makes it feel much more personal. You can WhatsApp (call or text) reception as there is no phone in your room which felt a little unusual at first but once you get used to it, it was actually much more convenient! Especially since most of us use WhatsApp anyway these days, it felt easier and more natural. The staff speak great English and even managed with and seemed to appreciate my very broken Spanish! So thank you for that! Breakfast was lovely - a largely continental selection of croissants, baked goods, cold meats and cheeses, and with a limited selection of cooked options (omelette or scrambled/fried egg cooked fresh to order), and freshly made coffee options. It would have been nicer to have a few extra options with the eggs as they don’t come with anything else, but this is only a minor point. The spa was lovely and we had two treatments which were very high quality and the therapist was brilliant. The staff in the spa are so nice. There is a charge of 19EUR to use the indoor pool which is called a “circuit”. It would be nice for access to the pool to be a bit cheaper for hotel guests during low season when it’s a bit colder outside, but otherwise the spa was very relaxing and quiet! The indoor areas of the hotel smell lovely with scented candles etc which is a really nice touch. The best draw of the hotel is that they are not very geared up for kids, and we probably only saw one kid on our whole stay. This was perfect. Please don’t change! Peace and quiet is so rare with the way kids are these days and to be somewhere relaxing without the triggering ear piercing squawking of people’s misbehaved little goblins is refreshing. There’s a nice gap in the market for adult-oriented hotels. If you have kids you’d be far better suited in an all inclusive in Benidorm. Any extra requests you have and the lovely staff would try their best to accommodate. The restaurant doesn’t open until 20:00 which was too late for us. It would be nice for it to open a little earlier, and we’d have probably eaten there every night! Room service on the website stated 12:00 to 22:00 but this wasn’t actually the case when we were at the hotel and instead it didn’t start till 19:00 or sometimes even 20:00 which again is very late for room service, so b
